The woman who drive her SUV that she thought may have a bomb in it to city hall won't have anything happen to her because she had a reason to believe it could be true.  The police did announce if you think there is a bomb in your car, drive it somewhere safe and call them...they would rather go to the bomb than have the bomb go to them!

And City Hall was a safe place to go?

LOL, No, that was their point...don't drive downtown to the police....let them go to you

And she drove to them-yes? ;D

Yes! To them and the courthouse and the city hall and the federal building....they are all there right near where she parked, lol

I'm procrastinating.  I need to get off my butt & do the tons of dishes in the kitchen, after I empty the clean ones from the dishwasher.

I just read a report from the German Institute of Nutrition, saying that those patients who ate MORE chocolate had far less incidence of hypertension and heart disease than those who ate less. The difference in quantity is equivalent to a 100 gram chocolate bar.

I've read reports before about dark chocolate being good for you, but there was no distinction made in the report between dark chocolate and milk chocolate. As a milk chocolate lover, it was good to hear.

I just thought that DRs at HHW should hear about this!

We're all in for the night after Fr. Richard's first Good Friday services - Evening Prayer and Stations of the Cross.  Rob and Mary Linda arrived in time for church, then we had a bite to eat, and are now safely tucked into the boys' room and girls' room, adjacent but not connecting.  This Fairfield Inn has no connecting rooms, which I think is weird.

DR Jeanne - I used to tell my son, "Chocolate cures everything," and it turns out I was right!

LOL Ginny.  I used to tell Bryan to stop buying me chocolate cuz it made me very grumpy.  Luckily it doesn't do that anymore, but then that could be I eat less of it.

Were you both pleased with Fr Richard's first Good Friday services?  Was he nervous?

No rehearsal tonight, George?

Nope.  We have rehearsal tomorrow (and all Saturdays), but no Fridays until tech week...when we open. :)

I am considering coming out of theatre retirement.  The Tacoma Little Theatre has decided to open their 92nd season with SLEUTH.

Such a mammoth part and with lots of stage business. Would your health allow you to undertake such a strenuous part? If so, break some legs!

I watched four more episodes of PERRY MASON tonight (making a total of 7 for the day). Can't watch as many of these older hour shows since they run about 10 minutes longer than the hour shows of today run.

Yes, DR Jane, he's been pretty uptight all week, but seemed more nervous last night than tonight.  They both went fine and now he'll never have to do them for the first time again.

Then I watched tonight's GHOST WHISPERER. Pretty intriguing approach to a haunting, and I was interested throughout.

MEDIUM was just great! Scary visions/crime scenes and really unusual that the girl could do to Allison and the girls what she did. And Joe's story is also involving.

I sure do love this show. I hope it gets another season. Now, most sites are calling it a "bubble" show even though there have been many weeks when it was CBS' top rated show on Friday night, and it has almost always won the timeslot.

Betsy is home and is fast asleep.  For some unknown reason, her parents decided to halve the doctor's prescription for pain pills when they picked them up at the pharmacy.  I just don't get them sometimes, frankly.

Vibes for Betsy.

Back from Good Friday services and pleasantly surprised by the turnout. now to finish off a little work before an early bed. Sunday I'm trying something I've never done before: goose. Bought one at Christmas and stuck in the freezer. It's time. Going to stuff it with rinsed sauerkraut, bacon, apple and onion while roasting it.

Great weekend to all.

I'm signing off to read for a bit and then get to sleep.  Tomorrow we're off to Deshler, OH, to visit our niece Rev. Amy, her husband and our 2 darling great-nephews.  We'll be back here in time to watch the NCAA basketball semis.

'night!

Time for bed.

Long busy day today at the World of Wisdom - which is a good thing.

Lots of commissions, which is a good thing - since I got the expected 2008 Tax Notice.....I used a particular online tax software for my 2007 and 2008 returns.  The day after I sent in my 2008 return, I got an IRS notice that I owed about $467 more for 2007...and a similar notice came from the state.

Of course - since I had used the SAME software for the just mailed 2008 returns, I expected to get another notice - and it came today.....Federal....I am sure to followed by state.

I found a new and much more accurate software for 2009, so I do not expect any surprises this time next year....
