Now playing: Sir John doing a brilliant Bax third symphony from probably the late 1940s or very early 1950s. Absolutely magical and happily the best of the 78 transfers thus far. Have heard many performances of this, including his later stereo version, but this is just wonderful.

Vixdad cannot sit through a commercial without flipping channels and then we always comes back to the show in progress and we miss something which drives me crazy
