I know the family appreciate it Jose as indeed do I.

What a wonderful night.  The moon is close to full and SO bright on the lake. I sat on the dock tonight for several hours with my nephews, a niece in law (What on earth do you call a nephew's wife?) and my brother-in-law. We had the bedt time. The moon was like a spotlight and our moon shadows were so dark and distinct it was amazing.

Of course we sand Moondance and Moon Shadow ....  forgot about Moon River, but then we are on a lake

Anyway it was grand

George, Didn't you know Randy Yackle?  He'll be at the wedding tomorrow. I haven't seen him in a while, and am looking forward to hearing him play.

There will be lots of music tomorrow. A harpist for the wedding, a vocal jazz group, Randy accompanying a singer, and I think an instrumental jazz group for the reception.   Should be interesting.  My nephew met his wife to be in the pit for the musical Cowgirls.  So it's a musical sort of wedding.

I really must go to sleep now.

Tonight at MY THREE ANGELS....oh my.  I can only say that it was something to see....the audience was admirable in its patience and enthusiastic in its response.

AND I have NEVER EVER been through anything like it....EVER.....more to follow tomorrow.  All the news that fits!

I was scared....well excited and scared....

Good evening, fellow Dear Readers. I just returned from a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas. Perhaps I shall post some amusing tales of my adventure.

Tom, I've been keeping Derek's family in my thoughts. The folks at church have been remembering them, too.

Tomovoz - It goes without saying that Derek and his family will be in my thoughts tomorrow evening, as they are every day.

Well, I must head off to bed.  I have to learn the waltz for The Embassy Ball at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow.  What kind of world are we living in, where Pickering has to waltz?

No, I never met him...I just know people that he used to work with.
