And the word of the day is: RAX!
I do hope you're following this up with Anansi Boys. . .
Tell me, have you read Neil Gaiman's SANDMAN series?
Have you read Good Omens?
Do you read Terry Pratchett as well?
I also really liked Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. . .
And the word of the day is: RAX!
And if anyone claims that's a spoiler, I will personally bitch slap them to the island and back. ;)
Sorry I left so abruptly without so much as a good and bye earlier. We were having a doozy of a thunderstorm, so I quickly disconnected and then it was time to leave for the program. We're back now and the stormy weather seems to have subsided for the time being.
Well, folks, we are down to the wire: tomorrow is the official moving day. I am shlepping all the stuff that's on other stuff today--tops of desks, file cabinets, little stuff in the kitchen, etc. Then the movers arrive tomorrow morning and the die is cast. I may be without internets for a day or two--they claim my new Fiber Optic modem is plug and play, but a wag at Blu-ray.com told me that usually means plug and pray. :)
Where the HELL is everyone?
BK, yes, the reading was at The Drama Book Shop, but I have no memory of who booked it. I met you all at Joe allen's after the reading.
They think they own the world is what they think. I'm sure one of the set cops would try to stop it from happening - don't know how much legality they'd have in making an arrest, though, as the person is on their own property. If someone were really being inconvenienced, I should think a good production manager would go and make peace and probably offer a little cash.
Great news DR Ginny. Vibes your DR niece continues to improve & away from the hospital.
I have a Sibelius/Finale inquiry. How does one do a 7-note run of 16ths as the second half of a 6/8 bar?

In other matters, I'm about 70 pages into A Mother and Two Daughters...

Well, though I have Finale, I refuse to use it unless absolutely necessary for reasons just like that. In Encore, all you do is click "Tuplet" and enter your how many notes and the entire note value for the run, everything else is automatic.

Thanks for the info, DR JMK! I will pass it on. As to Finale, it's the Broadway copyists program so we all bow to it.
Watched both HIGH ANXIETY in the afternoon and HISTORY OF THE WORLD in the evening, both on Blu-ray. The latter looks and sounds far better than the former, but it always has on home video.I think I enjoy both of those movies far more than I should. But Madeleine Kahn as Empress Nympho is a hoot.
These, of course, are identical to the Blu-rays in THE MEL BROOKS COLLECTIOn released late last year.
Ginny, I'm about to leave Margaret contemplating her melancholy father in order to see how the sisters are managing. ;)
