Other than to say that it's slightly more nauseating than the nausea I felt during my bout of food poisoning.

I shall now take a well-deserved break, after which I have to prepare a couple more orders, print a few invoices for tomorrow's shipments, and begin writing questions for Andrea.  Liner notes are done and sent.

I'm at work and our Internet has been exceedingly slow...it can take anywhere from 30-45 seconds to load EVERY page! :P

I have a Sibelius/Finale inquiry. How does one do a 7-note  run of 16ths  as the second half of a 6/8 bar?

Hello all
Thank you for the anniversary wishes! We shall not really have time to celebrate today, but hopefully soon.

Great news DR Ginny.  Vibes your DR niece continues to improve & away from the hospital.

Thank you, DR Jane, and thanks to DR Vixmom for last night's vibes for Lauren.  I think she should have stayed with her mom to take it easy through the weekend, but she's gone back to her college apartment and will probably go into work tomorrow.

In other matters, I'm about 70 pages into A Mother and Two Daughters...

Well, though I have Finale, I refuse to use it unless absolutely necessary for reasons just like that.  In Encore, all you do is click "Tuplet" and enter your how many notes and the entire note value for the run, everything else is automatic.

I am very very very (that's three verys) excited. I just this minute recieved my own personal copy of our own BK's new book. I cannot wait to begin! I wish I could put Toby to bed at 5:30 so I could curl up on the couch and begin devouring it right away. However, motherly and wifely duties call first. Perhaps tonight I shall sneak a few chapters in bed before I go to sleep.

Oy, vey, what a day.  So far I have shlepped two loads to the new house.  I also listed two armoires and a chest of drawers, as well as our basketball hoop on CL, and have just sold the last of them.  I also have been IVing yard people for the house once the renters move in.  Those of you who have been here know we have a humongous back yard and most of these slimebuckets have come over, taken one look at the backyard, and said "No way, man."  Do people want to work or don't they?  Don't answer that.  I finally found a couple who will do it in my budget.  They're a bit on the goth, heavily tatooed side, but they were articulate and very nice.  Was Charles Manson articulate?   :o

This is a horribly badly edited music video for Sioux City, but it cracks me up. It's intended as a promo for RAGBRAI  the Registers Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.   I know a lot of these people  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj7_E5Tpdhs

I have also received confirmation calls from the movers and Qwest that everything is on track for tomorrow.  The new phone should actually be up and running as of 8.  The internet by 5.  We shall see.

Here is our friend Alivya with the sticker books that we sent her for today's 5th birthday - I think she likes them!

Well, it's time for me to head to the theater!  Tonight is our pay-what-you-can performance.  We should have a very good crowd. :D

Until later!

We're trying to close a deal for three scores - I'm praying it happens in the next week - one of those scores is an all-time Holy Grail and, for me, one of the greatest scores ever written.  And this would be its first CD release - there was an LP, but we'll not only have the LP presentation, but the entire score from great sources.  And this is not a short score - this would undoubtedly be a 2 CD set.

Thanks for the info, DR JMK! I will pass it on. As to Finale, it's the Broadway copyists program so we all bow to it.

I just watched Episode 4 of THE TUDORS, which is the best so far: ghosts, rebellion, an odious drunk, a stupid queen, oral sex, a sick prince. Everything but the kitchen sink.

Ginny, I'm about to leave Margaret contemplating her melancholy father in order to see how the sisters are managing. ;)
