Well, Drood is better staged than most zoom musicals, but the sound is still the problem. They could use that BK attention to details. And the actors in the outdoor scenes have bad red eye, though that works well with the villainous Jasper.


The only time the sound isn’t the problem for DROOD is when it is muted.

I watched a very strange production of INTO THE WOODS last night on HD Broadway.  It was filmed in Regent’s Park in London.  I think the British are used to a stranger (and darker) version of fairy tales.

It reminded me very much of a book I had as a child that was illustrated with very strange characters.

However, I think I enjoyed THE PROM more than any one else in the world other than James Corden’s mother.
