Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Sterling's 81, and now it is time for you to post until the 81 cows come home.

Has no one here gotten their Rachmaninov CDs???  I would really like to get some Amazon reviews up on it because it will help push it to the top of the search engine there.  You search Rachmaninov (with that spelling) Symphony 2 Stokowski - and you'll find it.

I checked my mail yesterday and it wasn't there.  It's possible that I checked it before it was delivered, so maybe it's there waiting.  If not, it'll probably be waiting for me at work. :)

I need to get Annabelle interested in toys.  For a young energetic cat, she seems uninterested in any of the toys I got her.  She does like to climb, and last night she learned that a stack of books may mot be as sturdy as she thinks.

My neighbor Judy, who has three cats and works in animal rescue, has been bugging me for 20+ years about getting a cat.  She came over and spent several hours visiting.  She thinks Annabelle is less than a year old.  I'm glad she's next door.

T.O.D.

Truthfully, I don't recall what Halloween candies I preferred when I was a kid.

However, today, we buy 2-3 bags of the Hershey miniatures and I keep my fingers crossed that we don't get too many trick-or-treaters, so that there will be plenty of miniatures left over for me.

Monday evening greetings!  I spent the afternoon with one of my ladies' groups, learning about Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia.  We had a lovely tea party, too.

Last night my cousin posted on facebook "What is going on at Route 91 in Las Vegas?".  Apparently her daughter's best friend was there and sent a text "I love you".  My cousin and her daughter spent a good part of the evening on the phone with the friend, who is unhurt, and other friends that were there.

It was strange reading the posts of what was happening in Vegas and what these people my cousin knew were experiencing.

My cousin wrote "It's crazy, we were on the phone with my daughters friend, and all the screaming and crying was scary!"

I am very glad her daughter was home.

Kim Criswell posted on Facebook a note from her cousin who was in the crowd in the Las Vegas shooting.  She wrote that she had blood on her person but none of it was hers.

Oh, my goodness!  One of my aunts used to live in Las Vegas, but thankfully doesn't any more.

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I need to pick up my friend Margo and drive here to a car place.  Her car had some work done and it was ready to be picked up this afternoon, but she didn't have anyone to drive her there.  So, I will.

Be back later.

We watched La La Land today. I enjoyed it a second time but it's still not a very good movie. The director saw New York, New York too many times.

Got some itty bitty snacks from Gelson's.  We went up to 78% this evening - goal is 80% and we still have some hours.

DR Vixmom it seems classes where everyone paints the same design are popular.  I have been curious about them.  Did you paint it by copying another painting or do you paint over a drawing?
