She's ba-ack...

As Joanne!  -In Company, not Rent.

*And very interesting how she/they sort of end it like it was done in the John Doyle revival. Frankly, I miss(ed) the button.

So, this high school (like some others I know) just watch whatever the latest video incarnation of a show is and copy it, right?

I'm just more amazed that they shot the show with two cameras.  But, then again, since the cameras are (relatively) cheap right now...

Gamera the giant monster was lured into a giant space rocket and shot to mars. He will return in the sequel (soon to be released on DVD).

After that movie ended I began a 1972 Bollywood movie. After watching about 15 minutes of it I realized I had already seen it. Now I am too tired to watch anything else, so I think I will read some more of James Best's autobiography and then hit the hay.

Not that the hay deserved to be hit.

Cameras, and I mean really top-notch HD cameras have gotten so cheap that anyone can shoot anything well.

Just spoke with WFO - Joe's surgery was a success -

WFO has been given a knee brace which will allow him some movement in the broken knee.  He hopes to be released sometime this week -we don't know how long Joe will be in as of yet

Hoo and Ray!!

After work, I met my sister at her old house (which she's renting) to help measure the windows for new blinds because new renters move in next week.  Then my sister, my niece and I went to The Home Depot to buy seven, count 'em SEVEN sets of blinds.  My sister paid for them...I just helped with getting them to the house.  But starting tomorrow at noon at the latest, I have to be at the rental house to put up all those blinds.  My sister says that she'll help, but there's really not much that a second person can do when putting up blinds. :P

The buying and moving of the blinds didn't take too long, so afterward, I went to a local burger joint and had a burger, fries and diet Coke (the official drink of HHW...even though I personally prefer diet Pepsi ;)).  I had a filled up stamp card, so the burger was free! :D It was also delicious.  I then came home and watched TV:  one episode (out of about six weeks worth of episodes) of "The Bonnie Hunt Show," and the last two episodes each of "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory."  Those two shows are now done for the season.  I don't know how much longer "The Bonnie Hunt Show" has before it ends, but I haven't been able to keep up on the watching, so I literally have about thirty or so episodes saved up.

And the Drink Of the Day should be:

Navel Lint Recipe

Ingredients:

1 oz. Vodka
1 Splash Lime Juice
2 oz. Amaretto
9 oz. Coca Cola

Mixing Instruction:

Pour amaretto and vodka over ice in a large glass. Add the cola and a little bit of lime juice. Give it a sir and enjoy.

der Brucer

I don't know if it's the same thing (and I haven't looked it up), but one of my sister's favorite drinks is called a Fuzzy Navel.
