Well, you've read the notes, the notes were uneventful, and now it is time for you to post until the uneventful cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PERCEPTIBLE!
-
Lovely computer freeze - I really wish Apple would come out already with their new version of my computer.
-
Topic of the Day: The only David Mamet plays that I've seen were local productions of American Buffalo back in the 1990s, and Oleanna probably more than 10 years ago. I don't remember too much about either production. ::)

Good morning, friends.
-
It is Saturday.
-
At least around these parts.
-
Your mileage may vary.
-
I am working today and the next few Saturdays.

If one has #madskillz, apparently one of them isn't spelling.

Just sayin'.

Good morning, all!

This morning I could not get out of bed. The alarm rang at 5:45, I sat up, turned it off, and went back to bed for another hour. I didn't sleep much. I mainly had panic attacks about the surgery Monday, whether or not to do the laundry today, whether or not my body would cooperate to do the laundry, and I finally decided to get up around 6:45. The cats are fed, I've had a bagel and some coffeem and I think I really do need to attempt the laundry.
-
I wish I were wealthy enough to afford a house keeper.
-
DR JohnG, those photos were quite festive.
-
DR JohnG, those photos were quite festive.
Yes! Thanks, DR John G., for sharing them.

DR elmore3003, have you seen this trailer? There's a Thatch lookalike.

I would like a housekeeper, too. They could make me lemon ricotta pancakes.

100 years ago, everyone owned horses, and only the rich had cars.
Today, everyone owns cars, and only the rich own horses.
How the stables have turned.

Good morning, all.

What? Still page 1?!

I finally heard about the biopsy. One test was benign. I have to wait two more weeks for the other test.
-
I need to get up.
-
But first …
-
Two!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Did anyone get the license number of the truck that ran over me?
-
The op’nin’ was a success. We only had half a house, but they were surprisingly very much into it, and very vocal. Remarkably, almost none were theater people or people who had seen this before, so that was good to see.
-
Great pictures, DR John G.
-
Good morning.
-
The party is tonight. Lots to do to get ready.
I do wish the room hadn't been booked last night. I could already be mostly done.
-
But we need the money they pay us.
-
Yesterday I went to the zoo with my family. I had only been once or twice over the last year. The single person membership price was about $69, so I kinda lost out on that deal. I mean, I could have gone any time, but I really have no interest in going alone.
-
So after our visit, we went to the membership window to renew the memberships. She gave me a total, and I said that's for both, right? My son's family membership and my single?
She said no, that was just the family. I was pretty sure it was about $150 last year, so imagine my surprise when the total was $279.
My single membership would be $129.
-
I said I'd think about my single membership. I doubt I will renew that one. Yikes.
-
I know costs have gone up on everything, but now I have to really think about which things I want to support.
-
Also, the single-day ticket went up from about $20 to $40.
-
That is probably all the posts from me today.
-

The laundry has begun, and while I was in the basement I did my stretches and then picked up the mail. It's wet and nasty outside and I'm wondering how much the weather is affecting my body.
-
Probably some. It’s nasty out there.
BUT — I’m mighty glad it’s rain and not … that other stuff.
-
Good medical test news from DR John G.
-
But the 2nd test... wtf?
-
Party vibes for DR LAURA.
Those Zoo prices seem a bit HIGH.
-
I enjoyed the photos in the notes.
-
I also enjoyed DR JOHN G's photos from yesterday.
-
I am feeling much better today.....must have been a 24 hour thing and its time is passed.

The Netherlands now leads 1-0 in the world cup against the US.
But of course they are ahead - you know what the Dutch eat for breakfast?
Holland Oats.
-
I may have spoken too soon - or I shouldn't have eaten that sausage/egg/cheese croissant.
-
Glad you are doing better, DR Jrand72!
-
And on that positive note
-
We shall
-
Move along.
-
3!
-
I'm up, I'm up - been up since five - only four hours of sleep.
-
What, not a single soul watched that amazing magician?
-
George, thanks for Kino Lorber link. I spent way too much. Also found a perfect Christmas gift.
-
An obit for Harper Lee is running. Didn’t she die a few years ago?
-
Yes, she died years ago.
-
If it's on Facebook, people die over and over again.
-
I shall shortly be on my way to breakfast and other such things.
-
Someone watch the damn magician. It's five minutes long.
-
DR George, thanks for the Kino link. I looked over and I wouldn't mind having the blu-ray of Dreamchild, but I decided to pass.
-
Watched! Yes, incredible.
-
CBS News this morning did a piece on Brendan Fraser and his new movie The Whale. I would love to see it.
-
And the laundry is finished. So am I. I'm going to lie down for about three hours and then feed the cats.
-
DR John I loved the photos from last night.

I finally heard about the biopsy. One test was benign. I have to wait two more weeks for the other test.
Good news about the one test. Vibes regarding the second one, and vibes of patience while you wait.

Hello from the land of the sleep-deprived.
Three hours! Not enough! I feel like crap.
-
Three weeks ago the heater here in the apartment made a loud noise one evening, then there was no heat. The next day one of my neighbors came over and relit the pilot, so at least I had heat, but I didn't trust it and kept the appointment I'd made with the gas company. The technician came out on Thursday and declared it unsafe. Apparently, they don't do repairs anymore, so a private HVAC contractor was called. He came out this morning, adjusted it, and claims it's now safe to use. The building owner has agreed to replace it, which is scheduled for next Tuesday. I've been using a little space heater I bought from Amazon and it works great. I think I'll keep using it, because I trust the gas company guy more than I trust a contractor I've never met before.
-
Don't you just love having your time eaten up with stuff like this?
-
Glad to heat that the KL show went well.
-
Glad that Jrand can now be vertical.
-
Super-duper surgery vibes to Larry. Vibes it all goes smoothly.
BTW, didn't you have to do the complicated eye drop routine for a week or more before each surgery?
-
Party vibes to DR Laura.
-
Medical test vibes to DR John G.

Vibes of health and prosperity to us all.

Oh, yes: ~~~DECORATING VIBES~~~ for DR Laura!!!!!!!!

It's probably not cold enough there for her to try this:

Lucky #99!

I watched the magician this morning, as well. Forget to comment. I sure don't know how he did it.
-
But I never do.

Oh, fur cute!

Someone watch the damn magician. It's five minutes long.
It’s 10 minutes long, but worth every minute I just watched it

Thank you

It was very amazing

I love Penn and Teller's reactions to it.
-
Back from breakfast at Art's Deli (I wanted Hugo's but the parking lot was full - that hasn't happened at nine in the morning for two YEARS!), picking up one package, and then killing time at a nearby antique mall.
-
I'm going to start watching some of the streaming screeners - can't keep waiting for them to come on DVD - all we see to be getting is utter crap. Just got a streaming code for both The Fabelmans and the new Knives Out movie, so those will be first. The Fabelmans I can watch on the big boy TV as that app works with Firestick.
-
Getting ready for a night of dancing.
-
I hope I have the energy for it.
-
One more ...
-
Five!
-
"This isn't thinking. This is marketing."
Great quote from Lessons in Chemistry.
-
Don't you just love having your time eaten up with stuff like this?
Right. It is a good thing you didn't cancel your space heater once the pilot was lit for you.
-
Saturday morning greetings! It's a beautiful day here in SW Ohio and Richard's down at the corner watching the crew putting asphalt on Alamo Road.
LOL, that sounds exciting.
-
Looking forward to MR BK's reactions to both films.
-

Congrats, ChasSmith!
Yes, congrats. I should have said something this morning.
-
Looking forward to MR BK's reactions to both films.
Me, too.

So sweet!!
-
Yes, very cute. The book looks nice and warm inside.
-
My suitcase is filled to the brim.
-
One night we will be dining with former DR Penny, celebrating our birthdays.
-
Finished The Fabelmans, about which much more in the notes.
-
On my birthday we will be dining with our friend Flip. Former DR MBarnum wanted to interview Flip so I connected them a number of years back.
-
Most of all I am looking forward to my birthday hike.
-
It all sounds spectacular, DR Jane.
-
I hope there will be photos.
-
Speaking of photos, I was refining some of the recent NASA telescope photos and revealed some details that not previously been apparent.
-
It all sounds spectacular, DR Jane.
Thanks.

Cool! ;)
-
It is quiet tonight.
-
Rehearsal went fairly well.
-
Now, I'm at my mom's and we're playing cards.
-
I am, at the moment, in third place.
-
DR Jane, I hope there is room in your travel schedule for a spa day.
-
I think we can take this to page six.
-
It might not be pretty
-
But we can do it.
-
And best do it soon,
-
As I am quite tired.
-
But do it we will.
-
Six!
-
Good night, friends.
-
The day has flown by.....and DR CHAS SMITH must be leaving the theeder by now.
-
DR JANE please tell you friend Flip that he is fondly remembered by many folks who still enjoy his performances when they show up on television now and then.
-
I am impatiently awaiting the Fabelman Notes.
-
Sunday is our December Board Meeting.....we shall see what happens. We are supposed to choose the directors for our 2022 shows....so we shall see who is more in tune with the theeder needs and who wants to play favorites with asses who think nothing of the theeder except for their own personal gain....but if anyone reports anything such folks have said it is "hearsay".... In other words - I'm a liar.
So....there you are....and we shall see.
-
Hours and hours of dancing tonight. And my feet are tired.
-
Only 10 hours until the next lesson.
-
I think it’s time for bed.
-
Good evening.
-
The party was a success. I was disappointed, though, that as soon as dinner was over, they took down the decorations. There were some games, which I skipped (I was trying to deal with all the stuff they removed) and then we played that gift exchange where you steal gifts. There wasn't anything particularly good, so it was rather boring.
-
I ache all over. Sometimes I wish I had muscle relaxer pills. I'd take one tonight.
-
It has been raining for about 12 hours. We need it.
-
I am, at the moment, in third place.
And I lost...which, of course, happens more often than not.
-
My mom won, so she was pretty happy.
-
Finished with my viewing. After The Fabelmans was She Said about the Harvey Weinstein thing, the I tried Bullet Train with Brad Pitt but it is so bad and so I got a good thirty-minute nap out of it.
-
What can we say about page six that we haven't already said?
-
Listening to music.
-
Sitting here like so much fish.
-
Eating junk.
-
Had two cheese enchiladas for dinner - from Gelson's.
-
They were pretty okay.
-
Anyone seen page seven?
-
I know it's around here somewhere.
-
It's hiding.
-
It's being playful.
-
Playing hide and seek.
-
I'm seeking but it's hiding.
-
I hate when that happens.
-
Somewhere out there.
-
Am I being gaslit.
-
Page seven has revealed itself.
-
Now, where the HELL is page eight?
-
If you have seven or so minutes, watch this fantastic video from PoliticsGirl:

You shouldn't have to have a Twitter account or even the app.
-
I am very interested in BK’s thoughts regarding The Fabelmans.
Also, She Said.
-
T.O.D
NONE
-
I have been asked to be in GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS several times, but I have always turned them down.
-
I am also interested in what BK has to say about THE FABELMANS.
-
I think our snow event will be over as of Monday.
-
We have several birthdays this month.
-
Past and present.
-
Andy Williams and Ozziy Osbourne share their birthday today (along with Brendon Fraser).
-
An interesting trio!
-
An interesting trio!
Definitely!
-
Still page seven?
-
I just dropped my iPad on Sasha who was all cuddled up on my lap.
-
Page seven still?
-
I thought page eight was waiting in the wings.
-
I thought page eight was waiting for an introduction.
-
It is not healthy to leave page eight waiting for Godot.
-
Or Guffman.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen then and I've read them, not necessarily in that order.
-
They're long.
-
A customer has irritated me so much that I'm about to write him a most unpleasant response to his uppity BS.
-
That kind of customer I don't need and I don't need that kind of customer.
-
Where have all the hainesies gone?
-
Somewhere out there?
-
I'm not sure we're gonna make it to page eight.
-
And yet, we did.
