I'm now off to usher for Harlequin Productions' The Twelfth Night of Stardust.  The Stardust shows (newly written every year) have been Harlequin's Christmas show for the past 12 years or so.  They're all set in the fictitious Stardust Club in the 1940s New York City.  I was in five of the first seven.  This year (looking at the pictures on-line) every single performer has a little microphone that snakes from their ear to their mouth. :P They've ALWAYS just used the live stand mics and now they're doing this. :P AND I don't think any of the actors have ever been in a Stardust show before...at least I don't recognize any of the actors.  I did miss last year's show, but that was the only one that I haven't seen.  Until later! :-\

LOL DR TOMovOZ!

Pictures will be forthcoming next week.

Suffice it to say that his name is Merlin - he is BLACK and he thinks he owns the World of Wisdom.
A good name for  black kitty!!

There was a bookstore in Washington state taht I visited with rellies that was called Puss and Books. They had several cats running about. One was a beautiful Himalayan and the other two were an calico and a silver tabby.

Of course his name is Nicholas.  He's the latest addition to the family here.

Mmmmph.

Seriously jet-lagged today.

Went shopping early.  Went to post office.

Tons of mail awaiting me.

Three-hour nap.

Washing clothes now.

Have a pot of chili cooking on stove.

Happy Thursday everyone.

Friends stopped by this afternoon with a late Christmas gift for Sherlock.  They brought their 25 pound Labradoodle, Brewster, inside with them.  Sherlock wanted to play but Brewster who was hesitant to play inside (outside he can run faster than Sherlock).  I was on my knees holding Sherlock to keep him from lunging at Brewster and he actually dragged me a ways along the floor. :o

I don't have an IPOD or other portable music device.  I am stuck in the early part of the 21st century, I guess.

My DH took me over to our new house today to show me one of my Xmas presents. It was a device that he installed under a kitchen cabinet and you can place your ipod in it to play music, or listen to the radio or VHF TV stations. It's perfect and I absolutely love it. It even has a remote control.

It makes me look forward even more to cooking in our new kitchen!
