Hmm, Playbill On-Line has an article about record labels and they keep quoting this "Kimmel" guy. Never heard of him

This is pretty cool!  Congrats, BK!

It would have been better if they gave some of the product a plug like they did for the other two labels!

Thank you! Yes, when I saw so many other HHWers looking so spiffy in their new photos, I thought it was time for a change, too.

You managed spiffy very nicely :)

RIANES was up against CBS's Basketball the last few weeks, now it"s CBS's Close to Home; the male BB fans are most likely to preder RAINS to Close to Home, so there is hope. Those of us who came tape one/watch another have no problem.

It's a good read, not nearly as depressing as it sounds.  The friends I'm meeting tonight all read the book together for our group in January.

I didn't find THE GLASS CASTLE depressing.

In the strange things that happen on a Friday department - I just got a call from someone who's written a new musical, who has just offered me the lead in a staged reading in June.  Isn't that funny?  He's e-mailing me the script - not sure that this is something I really need to do, but if I were to like it, I'd certainly think about it.

Hello everyone. Bruce and Cason have finally got me on this site. I have a shadow of a thought that I may become addicted here shortly... As of now I, sadly, have homework to enthusiastically attend to. *cough* But I just thought I'd drop in and give a little introductory hello. So, HELLO.

Welcome!!!

I do agree, it is an addictive site!

Up until today, I had always assumed that DR MBarnum's avatar was some obscure but handsome movie star from Hollywood's golden era.

And he is even better looking in person, and just a delight to be with.

From the Wikipedia entry on LOVE OF CHAIR:

Naomi

Naomi refers to Naomi Foner, who was a producer on the show during the first two seasons and is the mother of actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Final Love of Chair skit

In the final “Chair” sequence, the sketch started normally. However, after performing a few actions the boy turned to face the camera and angrily interrupted the announcer who just said as always, "As our story begins, the boy is sitting" to declare "No, he isn't! The boy is quitting!" The background organ music suddenly stopped, and the camera changed to show a previously unseen door in a corner of the room. The boy quickly walked across the room and through the door, slamming it loudly behind him. After a moment's silence, the shocked announcer sputtered, "But...what about Naomi?" The scene then faded to black—and reopened on the entire cast of The Electric Company standing on a stage under a banner that read, "What about Naomi?" The cast sang a brief song that repeatedly asked "What about Naomi?" along with other questions about her ("Is she tall?" "Is she fat?"). The final lines of the song ran What about Naomi? What about Naomi? We shall never know.

It is being reported that the Sweeney film is tenatively scheduled to open limited on Friday 12-Dec-07, and wide on Friday 11-Jan-08.

I wonder if Sondheim is going to write a new song(s) to be eligible for the Best Song Oscar®. :-\
