Singdaw, DakotaCelt, Tomovoz, & Miss Karen, as always thank you.  The patience vibes must be working.  Along with the fact I escaped for a walk in the park today & the sun is shinning, I’m feeling calmer today.

Cillaliz, with your new chosen field of immigration law, I wonder if you will ever come see anything like this...according to this article:  Lesbian's asylum case opens immigration door. :-\

What a day.  For the last two hours I've once again been dealing with this alumni association thing - we got our first no vote (we already have a majority), this from a guy who's on "official leave" from the board.  He wrote a long e-mail basically saying he wanted seven members of the current board to be able to convene at the end of a year and, in essence, decide if I've done a good job - in other words, those people, several of whom have definite agendas, can allow me to turn this thing around, make it successful, and then arbitrarily say goodbye.  Uh... no.

So, tonight, I think we either have to say we have a majority vote and that's that (what I didn't want to happen is what two or three people are trying to make happen - a lot of palaver - vote yes, vote no - no palaver necessary), or, one of two things will happen - I will withdraw my offer, or I will start a new organization immediately and their group can continue doing what they're doing.

It's taking too much time and I haven't written since this morning, and now I must go sign 100 Creature booklets, so any more writing is doubtful.

Busy, busy Friday here in the ufficio.

Have done some terrific work, I have.  Finessed some letters, a resolution or two and dazzled a few callers with "Hi, you've reached.......this is Ron....how may I improve your day!"

That REALLY grabs the attention.  And it renders the caller into buttah....buttah, I tell ya....BUTTAH!

Watch those dyslexic fingers, Der B!

Let's see, how does it go...

It's not my fingers that are mis-hitting, it is the keyboard keys that are changing...

I'm not sure "cats" will do the trick here.

In the strange things that happen on a Friday department - I just got a call from someone who's written a new musical, who has just offered me the lead in a staged reading in June.  Isn't that funny?  He's e-mailing me the script - not sure that this is something I really need to do, but if I were to like it, I'd certainly think about it.

It's always nice to be asked. :)
