Like DR Jose I also like Evita and Joseph!

I also love Joseph!  And the musical is pretty good, too.

Actor Robert Blake was booted out of an autograph signing session over his unruly behavior, according to a U.S. report.

The In Cold Blood star, who was tried and acquitted of murder in 2005 following the death of his wife Bonnie Lee Bakley, was invited to meet-and-greet fans at a memorabilia convention called The Hollywood Show at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in California over the weekend.

However, Blake soon upset organizers with his demanding ways, and complained about the lack of fans interested in getting his signature, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Blake was escorted out of the event due his behavior, but when he started signing autographs in the car park, he was kicked off the premises.

From the It;s a Small World File:

I am sure that most of you read or heard about Maksim Gelman's NY murder spree this past weekend.  This morning my boss came into the office and told us that his cousin was the man that Maksim Gelman struck and killed in the crosswalk.  My boss is leaving early tomorrow morning for New York.

I'm sure Blake was Blake, but I must tell you that the people who run that show are amateurs - they did the same thing with David Cassidy - apparently they promise certain celebs huge guarantees - and then attendance is low and then... well... I wonder if we're hearing the entire story.

A love song I co-wrote has found its way to a greeting card site, which is fun.

Tom, that's terrible!  My condolences to your boss and his family.

Things were a mess on Saturday morning; because he was apprehended on a train, the 1, 2, and 3 trains (my line) were screwed up for an hour. The man that stopped Gelman was stabbed in the neck, head and hand, and his neck and head are a mass of stitches. It was pretty awful. I'm sorry for your boss's cousin.

Can't you come to New York with him?

Here's a video of the Robert Blake incident:

http://www.tmz.com/videos?autoplay=true&mediaKey=9e40b207-fcd3-4f21-a869-5e61536d5202

Apparently, what started the problem was a fan who asked Blake to sign a menu from the restaurant when the shooting took place.

I couldn't follow much of what he said.  What kind of fan asks for the menu to be signed-creepy.  From watching the video I'm not sure why he was escorted out.  He probably added a little excitement to a slow event ;)

Ah, Florida....I remember it well!

Last time I was there was August 1972.

I shall never forget it.

What times I had.

What fun!

Obviously I wasn't there, but with these owners I wouldn't be surprised if they saw they were going to have to cover his guarantees in a major way and were looking for any excuse to get him to break the contract - one of them even says loudly that Blake had broken the contract.  I can tell you this:  NOTHING like this ever happened in the Ray Courts years (over twenty) but this has happened on more than one occasion with these guys - what does that tell you because I know what it tells me.

Thank you DR Ron.  We don't really celebrate anymore and that is just fine.  I like flowers and I told Keith years ago not to buy them, especially roses, on Valentine's Day.  They just got outrageously expensive for the holiday.

I am back from MY three-month check-up.
I have lost close to thirty pounds - that's a good thing.
My blood pressure is normal - that's a good thing.
My mental health is quite positive - it goes without saying, but, that's a good thing as well.

Molly has pretty much adjusted to the "home" recuperation.  After a walk (or two, or three), as she is released from the leash, she heads straight for the "home;" and waits to see if it's time to go in there.
