And Erin Go Bragh to you, Vixmom! Congratulations on feeling well enough to go back to work!

My family (the Bulls) immigrated from Ireland so I wish them all a happy paddy's day, too. My Uncle Bob had 3 girls, so he was the last of the Bulls.

It was always fun, when you are asked the security question, "What is your mother's maiden name"?  "Bull!"
"No, really, I have to have it". I guess I should have worked up some variation on "Who's On First".

Yes, indeed - condolences to DR JRand58 on the loss of his Aunt Mildred.

And to DR Edisaurus on the loss of her uncle.

Thanks, DR Singdaw. I don't know what my mom will do without him. They would IM each other at all hours of the night and he could make her laugh in ways no one else could.

It's been a really tough month. I'm not sure I will last on this "film". It's really a shame, because I feel like I've been waiting to work on this film my whole life and everything I've done so far has led up to this. But it's not going to be that film, and that is heartbreaking. So I am in mourning in 2 ways.

If I don't last on that, at least I will be able to visit HHW daily instead of 14 hour days with people breathing down my neck. Speaking of...

I am so sorry to hear this!!

Yesterday I was scheduled to work until 1 PM but ended up staying until 2:30 to help prepare clsoing documents for an afternoon closing

I was home by 2:45 and had some lunch (Chef Boyardee Ravioli)  I know it's not real food but it is very soft and easy to swallow and it satisfied the craving I had for ravioli and it was on sale in the supermarket for only 99 cents a can

Then the Vixter got home from school and we chatted a little about our days - we watched the Ellen  Degeneres show which ended at 4 PM - Deal or No Deal started and the next thing I knew I was waking up in a darkened living room - with a quilt over me and it was nearly 8 PM !

The Vixter said it was like someone switched me off I fell asleep so quickly so she covered me up , turned off the lights and TV and left me to rest!

I guess the day took more out of mee than I realized - but I was so happy to be back being uselful and everyone was so nice and happy to have me back.

Dear Amy, so sorry to hear about the troubles on the film and of your uncle's passing. We are thinking of you here in Manhattan (and Wisconsin).

VixMom, glad to hear that the first day back went well.

There are days I want to just lay/lie/loo/lee/lah down after work and sleep until 8pm or later.

I don't know that I've ever seen any "wild" or "weird" Shakespeares. I've seen many Shakespeare productions, good and bad. He is one of my favorites. I do wish I had seen Rockabye Hamlet just to say I was there.

I saw Rockabye Hamlet.  Dear friend Bill Parry was in it, but that was many years before I knew him as a Dear friend.

I saw the naked Macbeth in Washingotn D.C. a year or two back, and it was indeed naked.

I am not yet caught up on HHW, and today promises to be another busy tax day.  Then I go to Florida from Wednesday through Friday for some family time, which was approved by the tax office with a tacit understanding that i put in as much tax-work time as possible before and after the trip.

I recently saw a musical based on "Twelfth Night" using Elvis songs. Apparently I have blocked the name of said show. Does that count?

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle, Edisaurus. I know it will be hard on your mom.

And I'm sorry to hear the film isn't turning out to be the experience you had hoped for.

DR vixmom - glad that your first day back at work was a success.  Please pace yourself.  You will regain all of your previous vim and vigour, but it doesn't come back instantly!

DR Edisaurus - I am so very sorry to hear about the disappointment on the professional side of things.  You are so talented, and it's just a shame that that talent can't be harnessed in a creative and fulfulling way.   :(

TOD:

The most whacked out Shakepearean affair I ever came across had to be a completely misguided HAMLET at Temple Drama School that was done as commedia dell'arte.  The concept made no sense at all.  The action was played as straightforward drama with everyone dressed in outlandish costumes and masks and wildly gesturing with each line.  The director thought he was making a further statement by having the actors in the players scene dressed normally without masks.  I remember really feeling sorry for the cast members having to deal with this idiocy.
