I gotta say, all the cleaning & laundry I've done today, why do I want that hair again!!

Because what's under the hair is so darned loveable!

So true, most of the time.  I can't say I will miss Yogi.

Oh, don't hurt his feelings, at least pretend you miss Yogi.

Gorgeous cat, Jane.

Great news, Danise.

I love cats, but i think it's quite ugly. I prefer short hair cats.

That was a bit long even for me though I like it.  I've had short haired cats & find the fur more bothersome than long haired cats, at least when it gets into my eyes.

Long hair isn't that bad if you brush every day.   My shortest hair cat actually sheds the most

Short haired cats need just as much brushing, thing is none of my short haired cats liked to be brushed.  Bogie used to love to be brushed.

Ricky is in love with the brush.  If I say "Who wants brushing?"  he'll come running full speed from anywhere in the house.  It's hilarious.  Boo didn't like to be brushed until she saw Ricky getting all the attention, now she likes it too. Callie likes to be brushed when she wants to be brushed but only when she wants to be brushed.

Joshie didn't choose me. He growled at me. He was feral. It took quite a while before he decided he adored me.

I must say in regard to your book, John G, it's been a very nice experience so far.

Not sure how long Amazon post takes, but just submitted there.

I'm simply using the same "I don't want any more dogs!" logic that I used on my Mother. That was BB (before Bear).

I was looking at the court records.  Yep.  There is a brand new case filed against Mr. T.  I shall check that page many, many times and I shall laugh and laugh and laugh.

I don't know.  Some people seem to duck getting the check at a restaurant, I've noticed.

"The Graduate" was the right choice for tonight. I remember the famous scenes  and of course the soundtrack, but I had forgotten just how well-made the whole thing is.

Finished with my viewing.  The days here have been unbearable, heat-wise, with temperatures into the hundreds.  A bit cooler in the evenings.

Long day here, in which nothing actually got done, notably any driveway repaving.  It took them a full day longer than expected to do the long one next door.  Tomorrow, hopefully, mine and one other neighbor's will get half done, and be completed on Friday.

Now you all are up to date on that.

I hear ya. I think it was 116 here today. Ugh.

I was in the LA area over the weekend, and it was really very very nice.

We had a good first day of rehearsal yesterday. And we had a good second day of rehearsal today...

I had just forgotten how exhausting - especially mentally - to "speed" teach a new show to a new cast in 14 hours...

Whew!

I shall attempt to catch up a little bit tonight - a.k.a. now - but I have a feeling I may just do so in the morning. I'm taking advantage of my jet lag and heading to bed "early" and waking up "early" here.

Laters...
