Tomorrow I have to leave at about 5:00 AM to drive to Des Moines for a seminar.  Since I only need about 3-4 more house of CLE credits, I'm going to leave at the noon break and come back home.  I don't mind driving before daybreak, but i really don't like to drive at night this time of year.

So...

When I left the apartment this morning, I had one errand on my list. And once I finished that errand, I had planned to come back here and get some cleaning and organizing accomplished.  Well... I left around 10:30. I got back around 8:00.  Oops? ;)

I got confirmation this evening

My play: The Absolutely True Adventures Of a Hollywood Assistant will be given a stage reading on January 19th in Fort Lauderdale.

Next up: Casting

However...

Mother Nature proved the forecasters wrong yet again today, it was a perfect Fall day here in NYC.  Not too cold, not too warm, and the sun even came out for a few hours.

I even managed to get a sneak peek of sort of the holiday windows at Barney's.  The theme this year: "Have A Foodie Holiday". They get their official unveiling tomorrow, but they happened to be putting on the finishing touches when I walked by earlier this evening. I'll try to post some pictures later.

That was easy department: just went and played about 2.5 songs for a restaurant manager at a cool historic building in Oregon City and now have a new regular gig several nights a week.  Plus, it's e-a-r-l-y--happy hour, more or less, so I'll be done by 7:30-ish.  Love that.
