Well, you've read the notes, the notes were the good one, and now it is time for you to post until the good one cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RENDITION!
-
Hope tonight's Kritzerland test goes as well as last night's! I probably won't be there for the live showing, but I'll definitely watch it as soon as I can!
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
The new support pillows worked very well, and last night I slept quiyte well.
-
The cats and I watched another Miss Marple last night: Towards Zero, which featured Eileen Atkins, an actress I love, as the murder victim. I turned opff the lights around 8:45.
-
When I awoke around 1:00, I had been having a long dream in which Geraldine McEwan, the actress playing Miss Marple, was filming a new mystery in which she played Marple and one of her deceased McEwan family members while one of her children played Geraldine McEwan!
-
When I went back to sleep, I had a dream I've had before, and I think it's from a previous life. I was with a group of friends on vacation to a "safe place," some sort of enclave. You traveled by car to a landmark, which was an abandoned building hanging off the die of a hill, where you climbed a ladder into the mill and stepped out into a community of homes. This could have been Sherwood Forest, Shakespeare's Forest of Arden, a royalist hideout from the Oliver Cromwell revolution, the French underground, I just don't know, but in the dream, I believe I was Jewish.
Nothing frightening or unsettling occurred, just a sense that this space was temporal.

I have no plans for today. I have my new desk lamp so I can do some writing. I need to put some money on my laundry card and do laundry this weekend. These dead lightbulbs in the kitchen are starting to work my last nerve, so I need to do something about that.
-

May they continue to help you sleep.

Are you really up to doing laundry?

When I took the recyclables to the basement, I left a note on Randy's 4th floor door. I thanked him for his B&E on Tuesday evening and asked him if he would come down and take care of the kitchen lights.

Please wait if you can and don't do more than you should. Be careful now and it will speed up your recovery.

I hope he will. He seems like someone who will help.

I think according to the Constitution, RENDITION is a crime.
-
Hot today......
-
I enjoyed reading about MR BK watching himself......
I missed the live test.
-
Good morning, all.
-
It’s a dark, sort of rainy day here. A nice indoors kind of day, with which I shall attempt to do something productive..... a little later. :)
-
I’ve had Jersey Mike’s only a couple of times, and not from going there or doing takeout myself. It was when Kristi’s office got catering from there and she brought home a small leftover portion or two. This was in the Before Times, well over a year ago.
The sandwiches were of the standard Italian variety, and were delicious. I always intended to get a proper meal there, but it hasn’t yet happened, and will probably wait a while longer. Sorry to hear that BK’s orders have been so inconsistent. I’ll report my results whenever this happens.
-
Friday morning greetings! I have a Zoom chat today with some AAUW friends - no meeting, no agenda, just a chat. Looking forward to it.
-
Good morning!
-
The new support pillows worked very well, and last night I slept quiyte well.
Good to hear, DR elmore!
-
Just so you know:
There’s a lot of information swirling around in your head right now thanks to the Gemini sun, and today’s opposing Sagittarius full moon is trying to help you make sense of it all. The full moon encourages you to reflect on the past six months to see if your efforts have been paying off, and the corresponding eclipse asks you to work on solving those important issues from the past so that they don’t keep cropping up in the future.
Any problems you don’t solve now can and will show up again, so use the powerful vibrations from this full moon/eclipse combo to choose healthy gateways instead of indulging in destructive behavior. Keeping an eye toward the future is important now as you learn how to use your vast experiences to avoid making mistakes going forward.
-
I settled down with the cats around 11:00 and went off into a heavy doze for a long time. I'm finally up and moving again.
-
Rest and sleep, just what you need :)
-
Is this a slow newsday on HHW?
-
My county has been approved for phase 2.
-
Hair and nail salons, barbershops, real estate, pet grooming and new construction can resume by following industry-specific guidelines.
-
Good afternoon, all.
-
Insane day. Productive, but frustrating. I was in way too many meetings again.
-
I’m now waiting in a gym parking lot. We’re going to do one of those drive-by parades for our boss, whose last day is today.
-
Nice DR John.

This is interesting. I would like to think great changes can be made though this is beyond my imagination. The article also mentions what I have been reading over & over is one of the major problems, the unions protect bad cops. The president of the union believes all the officers were terminated without due process. I can't see any way that Derek Chauvin should not have been fired, yet he is included in the statement.
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of very needed sleep.
-

I've been playing with a couple of new toys that arrived today from Amazon. The first is a new case for my iPad, which was easy to install and begin using. The second is an HP Sprocket photo printer, a gizmo that uses Bluetooth to print photos from my phone. That has a slightly steeper learning curve.
-
Enjoy your new toys.
-
Enjoy your new toys.
Thanks, DR Jane. I bought it so I'll be able to print baby pictures...
-
That sounds like a fun toy DR GINNY.
-
I wrote several pages of music, assisted by all three cats at various times. I've had no word from Randy about the kitchen lights so I'm wondering if he's away for the weekend. I really want to resolve this issue before I get obsessed about it.
-
That sounds like a fun toy DR GINNY.
Yes, indeed, DR JRand! The pictures are printed 2" x 3" on sticker paper, so they can be affixed to scrapbook pages, letters, etc. It came with 30 sheets and I bought a box of 50 more.

Isn't that what you have a super for?

Do you have a photo printer? Keith prints photos using Walgreens. He sends the photo online and then we pick it up at the store of our choosing.

That answers my question. We are only framing our photos.

Randy has come down, changed my light bulbs, and departed. I am very grateful to him.
-
Stella went crazy mad and climbed all over him.
-
I've now ordered his and Judy's thank you gifts.
-
If you missed the test and song last night, it's on the Kritzerland Upstairs at Vitello's page - a pinned post, or YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEtKuDonRVT0hUV9k4LwIeg?view_as=subscriber
And tonight's is at 6:00 PST and 9:00 EST. Do tune in.
-
Randy has come down, changed my light bulbs, and departed. I am very grateful to him.
Thank goodness.
-
Stella went crazy mad and climbed all over him.
Awww.
-
Leah liked her parade. She cried.
-
I went home by way of Costco. Stocked up on heavy cream and cheese, essentials, you know.
-
I did too much yard work when I came home. It’s hot out there.
-
Then made dinner. Chicken salad with an easy creamed spinach recipe.
-
Now watching the rest of The Uninvited.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Glad to hear that Larry's able to be up and about a bit. I agree with Jane about the importance of rest, but it's also good to gently stretch your muscles. Not to mention the necessities of daily life.
-
Restaurants here are starting to open up a bit more, allowing partial dine-in seating. I'm glad to see it, but a part of me still feels cautious. I'm interested to see how many people take advantage of it.
-
TTFN.
-
Leah liked her parade. She cried.
Sweet.
-

Comfort food after saying goodbye to your boss.
-
DR John is she staying in the area or moving away?
-

Yes. Gently stretching, not lifting anything heavy or bending.

Beaches is opening Monday at 4:00. I will be watching closely to see how the week goes. I follow them on facebook and expect there will be photos.
-
Downtown restaurants were approved for parkletts.

-
Somehow that doesn't look like the finished design ;D
-
It might be a problem sitting out there if the protests continue.
-
Live test in fifty minutes.
-
In the it would be hilarious if it wasn't so predictable department: Governor Newsom has opened more stuff starting next week (although only in certain counties) - the reaction on Facebook is priceless: TOO SOON! THIS WILL BE A HUGE MISTAKE, BIG SPIKE COMING! Every one of these morons have been perfectly silent for the past week as thousands upon thousands took part in the protests, sans masks in a lot of cases, and jam-packed. THAT wasn't a problem at all, but if people do it at the beach it's the end of the world.
-
Live test in thirty-five minutes.
-
DR Jennifer I found it touching that your prime minister took a knee today at a protest.

I was yelling at protesters to wear masks ;D
-
T-minus 5.
-
Sounding fine!
Both of these ballads are really nice.
-
DR John is she staying in the area or moving away?
This will be her retirement home. Her parents live here and her husband may stay here. But she’ll be working from LA and Atlanta.
-
Thanks, ChasSmith! Facebook hiccuped for me tonight, but not too bad - YouTube was perfect, as always. We had about eighteen viewers tonight, so that was better. One more ballad tomorrow night and then it's show time on Sunday.
-
Watching the tape on delay.
-
BTW, BK, do we ever get to see the video of the play you were taking about in your notes today?
-
Loved the song.

Best wishes to her.

Books have arrived, in LA at least.
-
I'd have to have the play broken up into scenes, but the only thing I'd really post is act two.
-
What is this page three malarkey?
-
Went outside earlier to see the strawberry moon. But it was not to be. Too early at 9 pm for the moon to be up.
What I did get to see were plenty of fireflies skipping about. Beautiful.
-
I set an alarm for 15 minutes and went back to look at the moon. Indeed it was bathed in a strawberry glow and was huge on the horizon.
-
Let’s push this ...
-
Four!
-
When I was growing up, King Lear was one of the shows that the Shakespeare in the Park company never staged. Nice to discover they’re showing a video of a production from last year this weekend.
-
So, in last month's Kritzerland show I premiered a song called Goin' Home - I said I'd never been able to find a lyric sheet on it but remembered the hook section and had always liked it. I remembered what the verses were about but simply came up empty and I save EVERYTHING. So, I'm out in the garage today and I see a box - I pulled this box full of stuff prior to writing the book because it had scripts for Start at the Top and Feast, etc. And I completely forgot I'd pulled it and never looked in it. If I had, I would have been able to at least talk about the song in Start at the Top that preceded the good one I ultimately wrote, called You Said - I don't think I would have put the lyrics for the first attempt in the book but I certainly would have talked about it - it wasn't a good song but it was interesting seeing it again and seeing it I kind of remembered the tune. It also had the older version of the title song. AND, I found they original lyric sheet for Goin' Home - I couldn't believe it - it was the working sheet with lots of cross outs and stuff. Turns out I'd remembered one line of the hook incorrectly but I liked the way I misremembered it better, and there were the verses and they were indeed about what I thought they were about, but not nearly as good as what I wrote a month ago. And it was for a guy. That I couldn't believe at all. So, that was fun.

I had an interesting evening.
-
Well, different anyway.
-
Tonight Tacoma Little Theatre hosted their first former cast gathering of one of their previous productions.
-
This was broadcast on Facebook and some other web address.
-
They picked for this initial pod
broadcast, SECOND SAMUEL.
-
This was the show that we won the state community theater competition.
-
I had not planned on attending the event (online), for my own personal reasons.
-
At the last minute, I gave up and signed on.
-
It was nice to reminisce with fellow cast members.
-
It lasted just over 90 minutes.
-
So, I have done my duty.
-
At least for now.
-
As of today my home county [Pierce) has moved to Phase II of the CoVid-19 reopening schedule.
-
Finally, we can get our haircuts again.
-
I think I will wait a couple of weeks before trying to get an appointment.
-
Restaurants are going to open at 50% capacity.
-
That will be nice, when I can afford it.
-
One more post for someone.
-

When I went to Eagan's yesterday, I happened to be the only one in there at that time. That's actually not the first time that that's happened. It's all in the timing.
-

Not anymore...fortunately!
-
I set an alarm for 15 minutes and went back to look at the moon. Indeed it was bathed in a strawberry glow and was huge on the horizon.
Nice.

What's the haps, chaps and chapettes?

Nobody here but us chickens.
