The cats and I watched another Miss Marple last night: Towards Zero, which featured Eileen Atkins, an actress I love, as the murder victim. I turned opff the lights around 8:45.

When I awoke around 1:00, I had been having a long dream in which Geraldine McEwan, the actress playing Miss Marple, was filming a new mystery in which she played Marple and one of her deceased McEwan family members while one of her children played Geraldine McEwan!

When I went back to sleep, I had a dream I've had before, and I think it's from a previous life. I was with a group of friends on vacation to a "safe place," some sort of enclave. You traveled by car to a landmark, which was an abandoned building hanging off the die of a hill, where you climbed a ladder into the mill and stepped out into a community of homes. This could have been Sherwood Forest, Shakespeare's Forest of Arden, a royalist hideout from the Oliver Cromwell revolution, the French underground, I just don't know, but in the dream, I believe I was Jewish.

Nothing frightening or unsettling occurred, just a sense that this space was temporal.

I have no plans for today. I have my new desk lamp so I can do some writing. I need to put some money on my laundry card and do laundry this weekend. These dead lightbulbs in the kitchen are starting to work my last nerve, so I need to do something about that.

When I took the recyclables to the basement, I left a note on Randy's 4th floor door. I thanked him for his B&E on Tuesday evening and asked him if he would come down and take care of the kitchen lights.

I’ve had Jersey Mike’s only a couple of times, and not from going there or doing takeout myself. It was when Kristi’s office got catering from there and she brought home a small leftover portion or two. This was in the Before Times, well over a year ago.

The sandwiches were of the standard Italian variety, and were delicious. I always intended to get a proper meal there, but it hasn’t yet happened, and will probably wait a while longer. Sorry to hear that BK’s orders have been so inconsistent. I’ll report my results whenever this happens.
