He's doing very well. Busy. He had another career change a couple of months ago, and he's now a full-time "theatrical merchandiser" hawking t-shirts, mugs, CDs, magnets and other paraphernalia. In fact, he's now management. Alas, he's now covering eight shows a week - sometimes ten. But, all in all, he's doing well. And now that I'm back in town full-time, we're gonna start "investigating" this idea we had a couple months back for a one-man show... Stay tuned.

Well, I'm about to leave for the first (and most likely, only) reunion party for the cast and crew of Cannibal: The Musical! It's being held at the home of the Indian chief, played fabulously by Jacob. It should be a lot of fun.

Media update. We watched "Shirley Valentine" last night. (No that was not a Peeping Tom reference)

While I thought that the SHIRLEY VALENTINE movie was just ok, I loved the play. I still remember the crowd going wild when the curtain rose on the second act. Pauline Collins was wonderful in both the play and movie.

Anyway, I have my plane tickets, my hotel reservations and a ticket to CURTAINS the first night I'm there. I'm actually considering not getting other tickets until I get there. There just isn't anything I'm dying to see. Although, I got an email for a discount on Spring Awakening through mid or late March....so it's tempting...

I felt exactly the same way about Jamie Foxx. For me, he was distinctly mediocre, much apart from some of the amazing things other people in the cast were doing around him.

He should feel VERY lucky that RAY happened for him. I've never felt he was a particularly gifted actor.

I'm also spending time at work organizing, cleaning out my desk, and catching up on all the little things that have been on the back burner. I went back to the office for a couple hours tonight and plan to work over the weekend. Being organized also lifts my spirits

I finished up disc 5 of CSI tonight (which contains the rest of the Season 6 episodes; disc 6 is all special features). The last two episodes dealt with the shooting of Lt. Jim Brass, the case that ended in his shooting, and his subsequent struggle to live.

The last episode, of course, contained the controversial (and for me much despised) scene with Gil and Sara revealing their on-going affair.
