Full English breakfast, hot pot of tea for before and a steak and mushroom pie for after the deed is done

I’m having trouble motivating myself to decorate for Christmas.  I’ve done a bit, but it’s slow going this year.

And the lawn guys came and cleaned up all the the leaves

That is always good but it is best if you are the last person to do this so the neighbors leaves don't blow back onto your lawn  ;)

Not surprising with your eye bothering you an all of your activities.

Yeah, DR Jane, I really could have done without this eye problem right now...

I've been busy with some laundry and cleaning. Brian and I have both been busy, so he hasn't been here.

(The apartment's dirty.)

Finished a wonderful feel good motion picture - Green Book.  Highly recommended.  Yes by the numbers, yes predictable, yes formula, but very well done, funny and touching, and two great Oscar-worthy performances - one by an actor I've never liked, Viggo Mortensen, and one by Mahershala Ali.

Well, I'm off.  I need to get me something to eat, then I'll head up to Lakewood to see Tom in his play!

Be back later.

With all the talk of nudity in Bertolucci's films in the memorial articles, I'm wondering if Nancy Walker's talent for camera placement in "Can't Stop the Music" didn't get the appreciation it deserved.

The mise en scène in "YMCA" is an example.  (maybe not suitable for conservative workplaces)

We fed 510 people tonight. The meal consisted of brisket, sausage, tamales, rice and beans, bread, pickles and onions, a jalapeno and a cookie. Folks seemed appreciative and we had quite a few back for seconds.

Fred, I love the idea of a side-by-side comparison of Bertolucci and Nancy Walker. I'm sure she would appreciate it.
