Books I 've read and enjoyed this year include all five of the novels by our esteemed bk and Penny's Jewish Thighs on Broadway, I had several books 'read to me" via Books on Tape ( my local library lends out unabridged copies) which include Memoirs of a Geisha, which I loved, The DaVinci Code which annoyed me with it's 'cliffhanging" writing style I mean how many times can you hint about something withourt actually tellingus what it is befoer you just get annoyed and don't care anymore? and which contained toomany unbelievable elements including the 'ending" that left me feeling very dis satisfied and cheated

Kite Runner is a book I can't make my mind up about...the writing style annoyed me a little in this one too... and I found that by midway through the book I no longer cared for the narrator and wanted to give him a good slap, but I cared very deep0ly for many of the other characters in the story

Dan(the man) I got your message and havn't had an opportunity to use the DVD player yet as people here have been monopolizing it with various Chrustmas presents... Muppet Show first season, Wind in the Willows BBC TV series, Arrested Development Season 2, etc etc etc

Yes, George, you need to watch IN JUSTICE. We have to support our fellow Northwest actors. I believe that Kyle MacLachlan was born in Yakima and he graduated from the U of W. I remember when he was doing MASS APPEAL at Tacoma Actor's Guild, he had already filmed DUNE,and he was just waiting around for it to be released. He is quite a good actor and a very nice man.

Jose, don't forget that the scale can be deceiving. When you work out you are losing body fat and gaining muscle and muscle weighs more then the body fat did. So the improvement from the workouts will be in the way you look and feel.

Now, stop feeling yourself.

And, yes, I do know that scales can be "deceiving"... And I also know that I've also put on some muscle over the past couple of weeks... However... And I guess I should have mentioned this earlier... I have one of those body-fat measuring scales... And when I stepped on the scale this morning - which was the first time in two weeks - the body-fat percentage number had not budged from the last time. -I expected at least one percentage point... So... *However, they do advise to weigh yourself in the evenings on those types of scales, when you're body is fully hydrated since that will give you a more accurate reading. So...

Basta!

I watched the new show "In Justice." I enjoyed it. Kyle McLaughlin is always nice to look at, too.

Since it'll be on Fridays, I can watch it right after "Ghost Whisperer," but it'll be on at the same time as "Book of Daniel," which I also want to watch.

I'm off, too. Tonight is the last night that I have to house-and-cat-sit, so I think my cat (Ebonie) will be glad to have things back to normal...and so will I. I don't have to work tomorrow, so the whole day is free! I have no idea what I'll do.
