Well...
I've spent a good chunk of tonight futzing with my iPhone. I installed the new 3.0 OS yesterday, and all went well. But when I went to do another Sync and Backup, I noticed that it took a long(!) time for those processes to finish, almost close to 90 minutes. -As opposed to 3-5 minutes. So...
I did some Googling, and consulted with some other iPhone owners/friends. Some of them had the same issue, some of them didn't. Well...
I went ahead and did a complete Restore, and that actually seems to have fixed whatever was causing the "hang time" with the Backup and Sync.
*Of course, I'm just wondering what kind of "stuff" will be happening when the new iPhone 3GS goes on sale at 7:00am. I know a couple of people who will be lining up bright and early at the 5th Avenue Apple Store - and I may go down and join them in line. I'm not in the market to buy the new model, but I am curious to see if they have the same madhouse as they did when the 3G came out.
