Here's my clone posting on our MacBook from the family room.  When he came home for Christmas break, DS Rob strung an internet cable through the garage so that we can now be online while watching TV and enjoying the Christmas tree and fireplace.

Yes, the tree is still up, but I got everything else put away today, except the angel collection on the piano.  Sometimes that stays out all year.

Never mind --- this post was delayed so is no longer relevant ...

Does "got back" mean something unusual in young people's language?

Wow George --  You've uncovered the hidden truth - FJL has been posting for five years before this board was even created.  Back when it was just a twinkle in BK's eye.

And speaking of Irving Berlin's White Christmas... ;-)

Here are two videos that Jeffrey Denman and the companies of White Christmas put together the past two years.  The first one is based on the "Lazy Tuesday - Chronicles of Narnia" that Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell put together for "Saturday Night Live".  The second one is based on the Eminem "classic" "The Real Slim Shady".

It does "help" to watch them in order. :)

DR MBarnum - Brian D'Arcy James makes an appearance in the second one.

bk, DR elmore, etc. - There are a few Brain faces in the second one too. :)

Lazy Tuesday - I Love A Piano Style

The "Real" Phil Davis

*I should also note that these videos do contain some adult language.  So, be sure to turn your speakers down.  ;)

Look, as much as I love a parade, it'd just be padding one's count to celebrate every single mill/mile/gall/gold-stone that we come across.  But...just for you, Miss Karen:

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]A SUPER-DUPER CONGRATULATIONS TO DR MISS KAREN ON HER INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT PLATEAU OF REACHING 3,600+ POSTS HERE ON HHW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/move]

Having watched a lot of college football on TV in the past 40 years, I must say the coverage on Fox impresses me very much.  Even though I have trouble accepting the OSU band's claim as TBDBITL, it was nice to see them get some airtime.  Now, will LSU get equal time?
