DR JEANNE - this isn't a new book, but it is one of my favorites EVER.

Looks like you can get a copy for one cent + shipping at Amazon.com.

LOL -- DR Sis is back at 11 am ...

Well, Sis, DR Jeanne may have been a few hours behind, but she reads ALL the posts. Uh-hum! Oh, and she passed 3600 WEEKS ago! (A little oneupsmanship between siblings, you know.)

DR JEANNE did you know that Annette Funicello had a white fur stole exactly like the one that you wore when you accompanied Mr BK to the prom?

No, I didn't. Gosh, is my old fur stole famous? Miss Annette must have gotten the idea from me, doncha think?

BTW, Mr BK accompanied ME to the prom!   ;)

Oh! Forgot to mention. I did indeed visit the bookstore today and I purchased both of the Val McDermid books they had in stock. I was very impressed with WIRE IN THE BLOOD, so I'm looking forward to these books. Of course, this is just the start of my book buying.

(I love buying books, but find that I must actually GET RID of some of the old ones. Horrors!)

I believe I still have my stole. I had a hunch Miss K would want to borrow it for some show she was doing, so I saved it!

And on that note (B-flat), I'm leaving.  It's time for me to go home and watch TV.

Until later!

I bet my stole would be worth a lot more money if Annette wore it. (It's worth zip right now.)

And tonight, I watched about 8 episodes of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH. I'm already on disc 3 (out of 4), so I should be able to finish the set tomorrow. I haven't looked ahead to see if there are any special features with the set, but I kind of doubt it. It looks like a barebones release.
