Thirty-six years ago, in 1973, the stars gathered on stage at the Shubert Theatre to present SONDHEIM:  A MUSICAL TRIBUTE.

It will never happen: there was some off-pitch singing, some screwed up performances and the producer left one singer deliberately off the album, I've heard, so I doubt he'll release ever a complete performance.

I wish that someday a legitimately released COMPLETE recording of the entire evening could be released.  I know I've heard tell that there's an illegitimate complete recording (), but I'd like something official.

I wish that someday a legitimately released COMPLETE recording of the entire evening could be released.  I know I've heard tell that there's an illegitimate complete recording (), but I'd like something official.

The reason there has never been a "complete" and "official" release is motsly all due to technical issues. The complete show exists on tape but there are severe sound problems with some of the numbers and even with today's technology they could not be fixed well enough to get them to the point that they can be heard.

The trial is all over but the shouting.  So, it won't happen again. the problem happens when a judge takes a lunch break and gives us 40 minutes to do final witness prep, get ready for closing, review jury instructions and have lunch.   It happens in trial sometimes.  Actually the adrenaline rush works fine for me until the end of the day.  I ate about an hour ago and I'm slowly starting to feel better.   It's not a big deal, just part of it.

Just had a good laugh reading a feature on the Mormons being upset over BIG LOVE.  Anyone who's lived in SLC can attest that polygamy is not a thing of the past.  What do you think those 20,000 sq.ft. houses on Mt. Olympus are for?

The interview seems easy.  I was reading there is a ton of prep for the interview, documentation & dated photos.  I don't remember what else.

BK, the notes were quite wonderful today.  I only managed to see Dorothy Loudon on Broadway twice; once in ANNIE and once in SWEENEY TODD.  She was something.

I have postponed making that decision until I get back from Vegas on Monday night.

I was going to go catch the AMERICAN IDOL results show. But then i realized it hasn't started yet.
But i did find out the Canadian station that shows LIFE is showing it tomorrow. So i think i will record that tomorrow and just watch IDOL tonight.

The printer repairman called; they may have to get the part from Japan. It will take about a month.

Another repairman is coming this afternoon to figure out why the printer is chopping off the tops and bottoms of the bulletins.
