Off to do a few evening errands, and then I think I'll watch "Little Miss Sunshine" later this evening on DVD.  I rented it, mainly because I'm a big Alan Arkin fan and I've heard that the movie is quirky and good.

Last evening, I watched a little low-budget crime/police thriller entitled "Open Cam."  It is definitely a "niche audience" film, as it is a pretty expected plot of a crime movie:  some unknown murders, all of the people murdered went to bed with the main character, and the policeman assigned to protect and act as a decoy to the main character also falls in love and has and affair.  Except all of these roles are guys, and it is in the Washington D.C. area.

It is above average for these kinds of low budget things, ...HOWEVER..., the cast is very good looking (if you like that sort of thing), and the torrid scenes would raise the question as to whether they would belong in Dear Elmore's DVD player, OR, in his infamouse VCR !!

Congrats to DR Cason.... We'll hold good thoughts for a call-back for you.  I'm sure you wouldn't mind being down in the San Diaego area for a little while.  I really like that city.

Thanks DR DtM.

Okay, I give up.  How do I put a song on my MySpace page?

I have no idea.  My MySpace page is a very basic page...no HTML, no color, just very simple. :-\

Thanks DR DtM.

Okay, I give up.  How do I put a song on my MySpace page?

You have to have a "Band Page" to upload songs.  Otherwise, you have to link to the music you want to have on your site.

-Just ask DR elmore.  ;)

-And speaking of DR elmore..

O Great Global Moderator ~ I got my rough draft ready of my Brain review, then went to amazon.com to post it,  and it says I can't post until I buy something from them and establish an account -- hurrump! I bought my Brain CDs through Kritzerland, and now I'm being discriminated against -- double hurrump!!  I think my husband or Cason have bought stuff through them so I'll see if somehow we have an account and then I will post my review, I promise (I haven't been dragging my feet, well I guess I have , but not on purpose -- I had a paper due so all my writing efforts were focused on it this past week and a half -- but now I will focus on the Brain if amazon will stop being so picky...)...

I have no idea cause I'm like a Cro-Magnon when it comes to all this computer stuff -- BUT Cason is a wiz at that MySpace stuff.  Let him know you need help cause I bet he could tell you the trick.

You don't have to buy anything to have an amazon account - just register and then you can post your review.

O Grest Global Moderator ~ I haven't been paying attention, so is there any other place you want us to post reviews that don't discriminate? I will be glad to post where you need us to post.

Good Evening!

Back from a lovely dinner with DR elmore.  It was so good seeing him again.  We ended up at Edgar's Cafe, and we both had good dinners - elmore: lasagna, me: quiche lorraine.  Oh, and, of course, dessert - elmore: German Chocolate cake, me: Vesuvius cake (three kinds of chocolate mousse on top of a brownie crust).  Again, very good.

In any case...

If your ears were burning... You can blame both of us.  ;)

..okay... I'll try again (but I could have sworn it was not letting me get to the review spot cause I didn't have an account -- maybe I dreamed the message -- like I said I'm a Cro-Magnon and can't do anything right on these gosh-darn, new-fangled contraptions...)  I'm off to amazon ... again...

The German chocolate cake that DR Elmore had at Cafe Edgar tonight was probably way better than the imitation GCC he had at my house last weekend.  Mine's made from a Betty Crocker mix with canned coconut pecan topping.

Is this a slow news day here at haineshisway.com?  Will this be only the second day in February that we won't reach three hundred posts?  Let's send the month out with a bang, not a whimper.

Yes, they were posted on Feb 9 or 10 - I can't remember

Found it.  Thanks.

I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much!

Don't know if I can make it happen, personally, but I might try.

Did I miss that part of the story?  Now I know why mentioned getting the cats while he was “away”.   I'm glad you had your cell phone with you.

Vibes for Cason. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I played Candyland for the first time in a long time. I used to play with the four-year-olds twice a week, but since my class has gotten so many new kids, I couldn't leave. But a bunch of kids were absent today, so there were only seven in my class.

The four-year-olds were very excited to play Candyland with me. And I WON. Yay!

Okay, I give up.  How do I put a song on my MySpace page?

If you haven't figured it out yet, go up to the top of the page where there are the links to "Home," "Search," Browse," etc.  -- you should see one towards the end that says "Music."  Click on that baby and you go to the search page for music.  You can type in the name of the band you are looking for and then browse through the band profiles that come up and look for the song you want.

But, be warned, not all bands/singers are up - and even if they are, the song you are looking for may not be up on their page (each profile is limited to 4 songs).

If you happen to find the band and the song, in their player, it should give the option to "Add" and you can have it on your profile.

Got all that?  ::)
