"The Young and the Shirtless"...that's the name of my next soap opera.

Will it be shown on the LOGO network?

Hello one and all and also all and one.

I thank you all for the new job vibes.  I am very happy there so far and I am absolutely loving the 10 -20 minute commute as opposed to the 1 - 2 hour one I had for the past 14 years!

The Vixter's ELA teacher (no more English class now it's English Language Arts) assigned a powerpoint project to the students (remember when we wrote book reports about the  books we had read instead of preparing computer slide slow presentations?)

Which meant that she had control of the computer all week hence my E & T status.

I will not be posting from work until I am well and truly trained in the computer systems and quite sure that my productivity is comparable with my wages.

We are all very excited here as the Vixter has been selected as Lucia for this years Santa Lucia pageant at our church.

Our particular congreagation was started 50+ years ago by a group of Norwegian and Swedish  Lutherans, and our Pastor for more than 30 of those years was of Swedish descent

I do not know if this festival is celebrated in any other Lutheran churches but we always celebrate it the 2nd Sunday of Advent.

and return the 25 odd books and various publications I needed for this paper...

I am doing a historical perspective of deaf / hearing impaired and hearing students in a college setting in the latter part of the 20th century.  It is also examining the cultural differences and how it affected acceptance and perceptions. I have learned alot!

Saturday evening greetings!  When I left the building after a day of information-waitressing and saw the almost-full moon, I thought, "Well, that explains a lot!"  Yes, it was a somewhat weird day in ye olde downtown homeless shelter public library.

Ron, thanks for posting the Bristol Myers Squibb Aids site...

I added my click also...

I have a very dear friend who died of AIDS in 1987 and a number of male relatives since then due to hemophilia related AIDS.

Anyone know of a Chicago Style Manual that is online??

Why could NDSU history department use Turabian or MLA.?

It would make my life easier...

Just finished interviewing the lovely Ms. Lisa Montell, star of WORLD WITHOUT END, SHE GODS OF SHARK REEF, and TOMAHAWK TRAIL...she is Polish born but spent most of her career playing hispanic and native American roles with a few French roles thrown in for good measure.

She is a wonderful lady and I had a blast talking to her. I am currently reading a book she wrote on the Baha'i faith and we had a nice long talk about it. I have learned a lot about this religion since she and I have been in communication over the last several months...it is a fascinating religion and one that I knew next to nothing about prior to my locating Ms. Montell.
