DR Jane - PT was DH Richard's favorite part of both his shoulder surgeries.  He was brave and diligent about doing the exercises and credits them with his full recovery.  Take your pain meds, grit your teeth, and hang in there!

Here's Zach in the Dog Parade (from the Jersey Shore).  You can almost see his little tinsel angel halo, which he managed to keep on.

The picture cuts off the top of your head so that we can't see your little tinsel halo.

The monarch scientist took me and another butterfly enthusiast (who also had  monarchs in her butterfly garden) out for lunch to thank us for letting her monitor our gardens.

That's all the excitement from here.

There are monarchs in the bottom of my garden...... (almost a Bea Lillie reference)

Unless Mr. Haggard gives me the CRI, no, no Blu-Ray of Nudie.  I won't do it off the DVD master - that said, I do have a newer print and if that went through some scratch removal (they're very light), it has pretty decent color that I can fix in the telecine room, and that might be good enough.  I was supposed to buy the CRI about a year after the DVD came out and I was trying to get the money together when Haggard got it.  He isn't talking to me because apparently he was offended by something in the documentary.  Too bad.

What is a CRI?

The internegative made from the camera neg - it is the interneg from which prints are made.  And yes, there are collectors who have lost films - if it weren't for them stuff would STILL be lost.

After I wrote the post about Haggard and the Nudie interneg, I picked up the phone and called him and for the first time is six years he answered.  We talked through why he was upset, we made peace with it, and he agreed to sell me the interneg and the five prints that came with it.  So, in a couple of weeks all that stuff will be on its way.  While I can't say anything until we actually put up the interneg and see its condition, if we're able to go from that I would say the quality difference will be astonishing.  I'm very excited and I'll be calling Image Entertainment to see if they'd like to do it.  I'll I'll ask from them is that they reimburse me for what I'll be paying for the interneg - for them it's not that much and it will serve as just a little advance.  So, that was very good news.

Now I'm on the phone or trying to be on the phone with a supervisor from the Kritzerland webhosting place - they are so screwing up our site it's not even funny.  Clearly their servers were hacked and they're trying to fix it but they won't admit it (the supervisor I talked to yesterday said they cannot admit anything, but when I told him what I thought it was clear he was telling me that's what it was).  My webguy cannot access the site at all from any computer in his house - that's completely weird.  I actually haven't had a problem accessing it, but a few others have had sporadic problems.  Meanwhile, Children's Hour is sold out but he can't get in to put that info on the site.  Not good.  The supervisor finally answered so we're discussing our options right now.

Good Evening!

Tonight I had some "Bubur Cha Cha" and "Pulut Hitam".  Needless, to say, they made me very happy.

What's becoming somewhat clear is that while their servers are having sporadic problems that is not what is causing my webguy's problem.  They had him do a test and according to the result of that test something seems to be awry with his "local host" - when he tries to go to the site he's not even hitting his isp address, it's timing out before that, which means it's a problem with his router or "local host" - that makes sense because he's having the same problem on ALL the computers in his house, when I, for example, have never had a problem getting on our site.  So, he may have to bring the files here and put the sold out sign on from here.  Of course, he had a nine o'clock meeting somewhere and isn't picking up his phone, and if he's not home by midnight he won't be able to talk to the supervisor I spoke with, who can help him solve the problem.

That's VERY good news about "The First Nudie Musical!"  I'd buy that on Blu-ray...and I just found out that my sister's boyfriend is getting my sister a Blu-ray player for Christmas!  I could watch it there!
