Thanks Cilla, I was wondering.

Hot here also but it did not get as hot as they predicted due to a late morning thunderstorm and it stayed cloudy for a good part of the afternoon. It only thundered here but no rain. It has gotten quite humid though.

Not a good day for DBF or mines apartment. His A/C died and mine has none...

He is picking me up and we are going for fruit smoothie or something at the local coffee shop to cool down.

AFter that on to STevens Point Wisconsin and then the Twin Cities for some fun and relax. Probably head up to my parents also...

Jose, you mentioned earlier about Hairspray 2...

There was a movie back in the early 1990s by the same name with Ricki Lake

Thanks to all for the audition vibes.

I didn't cough once while reading onstage.

There is a second round tomorrow night, and then we will know.  I will not be able to attend that round because we are rehearsing ACT ONE of The Fantasticks.

Thanks to DR SINGDAW and DR JOSE for clearing up the Final Performance phrase....as soon as I read DR SINGDAW's post, I remembered.

And of course DR JOSE.....retired A Chorus Line merchandise at bargain prices will be appreciated....except for yoga pants.

DR MATTH - one place where you can practice your movie reviewing skills is at www.epinions.com

It's great, you get a few cents every time someone reads your reviews, but it's a great place to build up a library of reviews that you can link to, or copy and paste to other sites....and you can write about any movie (or anything else).

Here's one of mine....for example!!!

With Scarlet Street in limbo, it's the only regular outlet I have for publishing reviews.

I just found out the Food Network here in Canada will be showing the Next Food Network Star starting next week.  I can't wait!  So hopefully if anyone mentions the winner they will put spoiler space.

Who did he vote for?  Did you know that Rory was on a CMT Reality show called Popularity Contest and came in second?  That's how she got to Vega, TX

Skip voted for Amy, because he'd love to see Amy's potential show about accessible gourmet food.  And besides, we can't do much of Rory's grilling here in this apartment.  :)

I have no idea what this is all about.

It's a competition among cooks/chefs and the winner gets their own show on The Food Network.  It's called "The Next Food Network Star"
