I just watched about an hour of THE GROUP. Wow - that movie moves FAST!! Sidney Buchman wrote an interesting screenplay and Sidney Lumet chose some outstanding young actresses!Even though it's 1933 - all of the girls have mid 60's hair, but the costumes are pretty much on.Sometimes as time goes on and you get used to seeing people all stretched out and trying to stay young....you forget how stunning they once were:Jessica WalterJoan HackettCandice BergenKathleen WiddoesElizabeth HartmanJoanna PettetAll of them drop dead gorgeous....and Walter and Hackett even more than the others... WHEW!
Who'd a thunk it!
Egg-sactly.LOL....I remember that MAD parody too....but forget the title.
DR JRand, have you forgotten that with a new HDTV, getting the full screen edition of any movie robs you of anamorphic enhancement? You'll be losing resolution playing the movie in that format on your TV.
Beautiful Joan Hackett.
