Will we never get to page two?
My Cult Camp Classics DVD's have shipped!
DR JOSE - I am not sure what those clips were....but they were VERY interesting. And I guess that guy and his wife in the audience were who the celebration was for!
And if you happen to see any coverage on the news, I'll be the gay one. ;D
What? You're gay?????
bk - Does NYMF/Equity/AFM/etc. restrict the number of hours you can rehearse? Or am I just stuck in "workshop" mode?
There are one or two of us on this site.
::) ;D
Us? You, too?
Dear BK, is Cason going to be in "The Brain ... X" at the NYMF?
I have on a black t-shirt with the DEATHTRAP logo on it (from a production I worked on many years ago), black shorts, and sandals.
I am wearing a pink t-shirt.
What is the revolutionary costume for today?
I am wearing a pair of blue jean carpenter-style shorts that hit just above the knee, white crew socks, and a bright red polo shirt from Old Navy.
The hat is black with the logo from Monday Night Football, and the shoes are brown topsiders.
And that is MY revolutionary costume for today....what about yours?

A Conference of Cantors in the Catskills... Perhaps they might break into a Chorale?

Good day one and all!!
My, my ... the planets and the moons and the stars must be aligned -- the two errant and truant gratuity posters on the site at the same time again...maybe we can undo the damage from yesterday and help 'em break 300 posts today ... maybe?

Actually BOTH Mercury and Jupiter are in retrograde, but since our computers and electronics are controlled by Uranus, all should be fine. ;D
HHW delivers turnips?
Page Three Jupiter video dance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3l7yz4UJLE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3l7yz4UJLE)
..and squash and zucchini...
I'd rather see Uranus dancing ...
HOla MissKaren!
Are you going to NYC also?
Hopefully it will fit us all...
MissKaren, you are nearing 2000!
and there's DR Jose's patio (I think he mentioned grilling on one the other day)...
True... I wonder about Singdaw??
Only 18 more dear...
Indianapolis is in its second year of a Fringe Festival....and I find it MOST annoying.
Good morning, HHW!
Gosh, I leave HHW for just half a day to participate in the OTHER part of my life and...BIG NEWS!!!
trying to post images, having trouble re-sizingin photobucket. it used to be so easy
DR DAKOTA CELT:
Well, for one thing, when Jupiter goes retrograde, it can have a large effect on forward progress in our lives, affecting career improvement, cash flow, personal growth, and physical energy levels. You can really feel like anything "big" you're trying to do with your life is stalled. :D
Yeah, I know what you mean. Every year it gets harder and harder to decrease the size of my photobucket.
JRand, why is the Indy Fringe fest annoying?
Just had word that Alet is good to go, so that's a big load off. I've begun making wish lists for the other roles I have to cast. I have a pretty good idea who'll be The Brain, though.
Also, just added the divoon Miss Linda Purl to our fundraiser show.

Oh, are we doing clothing reports?
Well, blue jeans, a salmony-colored mesh polo shirt (sooo East Coast), old white Docksiders.
Can I use Jupiter's retrograde as my excuse???
Actually BOTH Mercury and Jupiter are in retrograde, but since our computers and electronics are controlled by Uranus, all should be fine. ;D
Just had word that Alet is good to go
Yeaaa! Now you've got the two best alien sidekicks in the world -- I mean -- universe!!
Let me make sure I understand... My computer is controlled by Uranus?
I am wearing pale blue denim shorts and a black tanktop that says Hollywood on it.
Yes, MISS KAREN, it IS exciting. And we know what a PROUD MAMA you are!!
Revolutionary. ;D
They really click on the recording...
TCB, be nice to Uranus now...
There are one or two of us on this site.
::) ;D
Yeah, he's a pretty good egg so, yes, I'm pretty proud of the little fella...
................... and it will be nice to me?
Sorry, Jrand.
I am glad Uranus is here also!
Oh Mr TCB.... Your puter speaking....
Please be nice to me!
I am sooooo NOT going there. :-X
Who is AroldMBrockman and Why Isn't He Posting? (sounds like some movie title)
................... and it will be nice to me?
and to think I'll get to number 2000 with the help of Uranus
...thanks JRand!
More Ovaltine please.
DR EDISAURUS, I liked that cheerleading video from yesterday. Those gentlemen are certainly athletic. And great tumbling passes!
Does the retrograde affect the others that live above you??
Just what I wanted to hear at 1130 am on a Sunday Morning... The couple living above me having a VERY NOISY session sex
My girlfriend did a short film with them that she hoped Turner would pick up as a "Webisode" series. )They were soliciting pilots.) It was a murder mystery called MURDER...MOST FABUOUS!!! My DH and some other friends worked on it. It was very entertaining and they were great fun. I'm sorry they didn't pick it up!
Is Alet Taylor going to NYC? Kevin Spirtas?
Yeaaa! Now you've got the two best alien sidekicks in the world -- I mean -- universe!!
I know Chester GArner and his wife both died in the LA area, possibly in Thousand Oaks. I was a very happy camper when I found this last night...
Why, didn't you like them? ;D
DR CILLA LIZ we need to see pictures of the new space....and your name on the door.
What? You're gay?????
Actually BOTH Mercury and Jupiter are in retrograde, but since our computers and electronics are controlled by Uranus, all should be fine. ;D
In case you can't tell....I received my GREY GARDENS cd yesterday.
Paul is in the middle of repairing a building sized mural, designing and creating 2 Mardi Gras floats for our big parade next Friday and he still has to start the water tower.
I did move the plants from one office to the other this morning. For some reason I had this urgent need to move them out of the old office. I thought it was weird, but it was easier to do it than to analyze why I felt that way.
Oh, Hi...
Great news about the Brain! I have been hoping to make a fall NYC trip now that I have enough points and miles to do it for next to nothing. So, instead of my usual October, I will try to make it in September instead. Sounds like lots of fun!!!
Uranus is huge .....
Well, yours isn't so small either, lady!
... now your friends will be so impressed that you're such an expert about Uranus ...
I am off to a family reunion....oh my...
In actuality, my friends' curiosity about Uranus is less than nil. 8)
2001: A Miss Karen Uranus Odyssey
but it's Uranus that I'm taking about ...
But who's on first?[/i]
Congrats, Miss Karen, on 2000 posts!
I'm happy that Cason will be a part of the team!!
Uranus is huge .....
Uranus is visable to the naked eye ....
MOON OVER URANUS - that's the name of...oh, never mind
elmore hasn't called me back yet - have you noticed?
I'm back from Miss Egan's and will now contemplate not only my navel but my lunch.
but it's Uranus that I'm taking about ...
Neither Agnes Moorehead nor ELizabeth Montgomery ever won an Emmy for BEWITCHED (a criminal offense if you ask me).
Will we never get to page eight?
and here we are!
Will we get to page 9?
Dakota - Could the employees have ejected the man without potentially endangering themselves physically?
Oh, it was only one employee on duty. But could he or she have handled the man had the man turned violent?
I will single-handedly take us to page nine.
and I helped (Shake and Bake reference) -- what was my post #239 -- chopped liver?
MissKaren, have you seen "The Wind that Shakes the Barley"?
Make that seventeen GUESTS.
You're too polite -- I'd call them non-posting lurkers!
MissKaren, should we join bk on a frenzy....
I think we have -- he's just so concerned about his CD person, that he's not even aware we're helping with his frenzy...
I will give a full report of the movie later tonight.
Please do because I have not heard about it.
Okay, CD Person is STILL not here despite all the wandering cars and SUVs. Actually, what I really don't get is all this activity car-wise that's going on in front of my house. Maybe there's a party somewhere.
I'm coming to Cabaret next Saturday night, the second night, and we're all going to PARTAY afterwards.
Has Jane been posting?
Cason is playing Sally Bowles.
I'm practically falling asleep at the keyboard.
Uhhh..Mardi Gras in June?
bk ~
I'm not sure what all they mean by this, but on the NYMF website --
http://www.nymf.org/Page-101.html -- some Qand A section which you may have already seen, so stop here if you have -- it said "under certain circumstances, we will provide fiscal sponsorship enabling donors to make fully tax-deductible donations to support your production. This requires case-by-case discussion and an additional agreement between NYMF and your producing company."
Of course, it didn't specify what the "certain circumstances" are nor what the "additional agreement" entails (probably something like giving them your first born and all rights to actual and imagined future earnings) ... but it might be something to ask them about on Monday cause tax-deductible is a word that might make some potential donors sit up and take notice...
Maybe you didn't want them to feel that you were leaving them behind? I would have done the same thing...
Please do because I have not heard about it.
Here's the website

I am quite full from my mess o' pasta.
and I helped (Shake and Bake reference) -- what was my post #239 -- chopped liver?
DR td. Thank you for speaking up on behalf of the figs. (For those who are new "figs" is a fagure of speech from the early days of HHW).
Not EVEN figs...raisins!!??!!
DR td, you say the most naughty things! Come sit next to me... ;)
Shoes on the table!
And he'll be climbing from the bath like Marilyn Monroe (almost a Blood Brothers reference)
I thought that entree was rather leathery...
speak in whispered tones
Is the superstition about any shoes on the table or only new shows on the table?
Actors who speak in whispered tones are likely to send bk off on a rant!
Oops,. I meant shoes, not shows
Depends on whether or not Ed Sullivan is doing the introduction.
singdaw - Don't you mean rilly big?
Yes, you're welcome, DR tomovoz, BUT this fig is at the moment listening to the Stephanie Lawrence recording of BLOOD BROTHERS which I finally tracked down yesterday. :oHey old fig what do you say old fig.
Are you still my dear tomovoz?
At last my "Michael Toliver Lives" has arrived.
Our local and very good non professional theatre group is presenting Blood Brothers" in October. I shall NOT be attending.
Good Evening!we had our own viewing area as it were - under a tent, right by the sidewalk.
My! So close you could almost...reach out and touch someone!
Jose, do you have time to talk later, as in on the telephonic device? If so, can you give me a ring?
-I saw Blood Brothers on Broadway. Three times. Willingly. ;)
-And I also saw Passion on Broadway. Five times. Willingly.
:) Adorable, DR JoseSPiano. Thanks for the pictures!
I can't stand STEEL MAGNOLIAS or BEACHES, either! Though with the latter, I do love Otto Tittsling. All is not lost. Just don't Tell Ron P.
Were you a theater-goer at the age of three? You're far, far too young, DR Jose!
Yesterday, when I finally got home, I was most pleased to find a package from one "R. Holmes" containing a personalized autographed copy of the Curtains CD (it was from the CD signing at Barnes and Noble -so it has autographs of all who were there for the signing). I have to say it brightened my day considerably
How many have you turned in two months time?
td I've had "Son Of a Witch" here to read for ages. Any opinions?
Thanks Mr Dale. "Lost" was indeed almost a lost cause but I did finish it.
tomovoz, there is only one Tobey Maguire book which I cannot recommend, and that is LOST.
SON OF A WITCH is required reading, and a grand entertainment, for those of us who like Maguire's WICKED more than the book for the Broadway musical WICKED.
I think SON OF A WITCH is a well thought out book, gorgeously written and on the whole more satisfying than WICKED. No fat, all meat.
Spiderman is such an interesting writer.
I think I'll just go and modify my posts. . . . :-\ :'( :'(
Jose, I’m not sure who is cuter, you or Henry.
Thanks for the pics Jose. I guess you will have grown out of Beaches and Brothers by now! Thank goodness for Sunday in the Park and Passion.
DR Jane, I think that DR Jose is cuter than a button, but, a baby beats that in the cute department any day!
What? You're gay?????
Were you a theater-goer at the age of three? You're far, far too young, DR Jose!
Henry is one of the cutest babies I have EVER seen!!!
Thanks for the pics, DRJOSE.
It looks as if there were one or two other special interest fans there with you.
And in case no one recognized it.....in my avatar I am standing in front of the Music Box Theatre and a poster for the Clark/Cassidy/Cassidy production of BLOOD BROTHERS.
I'm so looking forward to reading Michael Toliver. We watched "The Night listener" a couple of weeks back. Except for the ending, (the new apartment scene) it works well.
:)
-And I have a signed copy of one of those posters.
:D
These lasts months I have enjoyed reading about your career change, office news & am looking forward to reading the upcoming changes & new clients (whatever you can share about them).
DR Cillaliz - So, once you're done setting up your new office, can you come out to NYC for the weekend, and help me go through my boxes-o-stuff?
Thanks Jane. This afternoon I finished getting everything out of the old office that I will be taking with me. Now I don't have to worry about that and no one gets the satisfaction of watching me leave with a box in my hands. (I did all my moving out after hours)
No, no. It's ham chunks and cheese slices.
Of course, I am. Why?
Our minister gave his notice this week, and his office is already packed up to move. He won't be going for two or three months.
Hope that DR EDISAURUS has found some relief from her allergies.
Cilla, I wonder how you will feel on the day you leave.
'night.
DR Laura, is the minister leaving (odd to be packed so quickly) a good thing, bad, or indifferent?
Yes, actually. Our sister city, Lake Charles, LA, sends a delegation every year for our Mardi Gras that is the lead in to Saturday in the Park.
Are we STILL on page nine?
Will we never get to page eleven?
Not EVEN figs...raisins!!??!!
"I think it was the 4th of July..."
Thanks for the explanation, Cilla!
Will we never get to page twelve?
DR Jane, I think that DR Jose is cuter than a button, but, a baby beats that in the cute department any day!
Cilla, I think you deserve a rest after all that moving and work getting the office together. Whew!
I'm watching The Girl in the Cafe for about the 5th time.
How many have you turned in two months time?
"You are the wind that shakes my barley" - Isn't that from BEACHES?
Isn't Bill Nighy wonderful in that?
Yup, that's what the festival is named after. It's the Saturday before the 4th of July every year, which this year happens to be in June. The music is free, starts and noon and goes until midnight. This year's headliner is B B King
Next, I watched THE HISTORY BOYS film. I really enjoyed it. Being a former teacher, it was SO exciting seeing students ENJOYING learning and enjoying showing what they knew. I found the three teachers so unique and interesting in different ways.
I will look forward to watching this again soon.
And Jamie Parker in a towel! :)
-And, strangely enough, Mr. Parker is not on the DVD cover - ???
And Jamie Parker in a towel! :)
Come on, people! Won't anyone watch MURDER...MOST FABULOUS!! in honor of gay pride week?
http://youtube.com/watch?v=UGPTLZwSs9g
And tomorrow night at 9 --THE CLOSER on TNT...Fritz in a towel!
Somehow, the powers that be didn't seem to think that was enough of a draw for a whole promo. >:(
I watched it! And I liked it too!
:)
And now, I think I shall get ready for bed. It's been a long day, and I have a long, action-packed, activity-laden, fun-filled week ahead of me too.
It's the next movie in our film series
Movie - The Wind that Shakes the Barley
**Winner Best Film Cannes Film Festival**
Ireland, 1920. Damien and Teddy are brothers. But while the latter is already the leader of a guerrilla squad fighting for the independence of his motherland, Damien, a medical student at University College, would rather finish his training at the London hospital where he has found a place. However, shortly before his departure, he happens to witness atrocities committed by the ferocious Black and Tans and finally decides to join the resistance group led by Teddy. The two brothers fight side by side until a truce is signed. But peace is short-lived and when England imposes a treaty regarded unfair by a part of the population war resumes, this time pitting Irishmen against Irishmen, brothers against brothers, Teddy against Damien...
I have pictures from my various adventures today :)
The second half of my Solstice Adventure took place in a Downtown LA. In this back alley lies the artistic Lost Soul's Cafe with live entertainment. It was the Soul Space Solstice Celebration, and there were people cleansing their bodies with healthfood and spirits with art and relaxing with yoga and massages. I had cheesecake :)
Just reading about people cleansing bodies with healthfood and spirits (they were drinking after cleansing? Brilliant!) makes me want to vomit on the ground.
