There's a rather well known acting "couple" who have worked on two major projects over the past couple of years.  One of them is very fastidious when it comes to learning lines and blocking.  The other one does learn the lines and blocking (more or less), but also likes to leave a room - a lot of room - for things just to happen in rehearsal.  And in performances - at least in previews.  Needless to say...

*And when "one" of them happens to come into Angus McIndoe for a few drinks and then starts "talking" about the "other one's" process...  Well...  Just be thankful that Liz Smith was not in earshot.

-And, yes, I was being intentionally vague, but it's sort of an easy "couple" to figure out if you put your thinking caps on.

Well, we have a Noon matinee tomorrow, so I shall be heading to bed shortly.  -We also have our usual evening show too.  And then we just have Thursday and Friday evening.  That's all.  A five show week.  And we still get paid as if it's a full, eight-show week.  Thank you, AFM!  -And Equity provides the same "bonus" too for the actors.  *See, sometimes, unions can be a good thing.  ;)  In any case...

It will be nice having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off.  And we still get Monday off too.  So, in essence, we're getting a 3-day weekend!  A lot of shows are on special schedules this week - shows tonight, and/or a matinee on Christmas Eve.  Not at Arena.  Thank you, Arena Stage. ;)  In any case...

I have no idea where this is/was going.  So...

I've always found that "The Carol of the Bells" is very exciting to sing.

Guess I'll be heading down to bed, too. I would LOVE getting 8 hours of sleep tonight, but I have a feeling it just ain't gonna happen.

Goodnight.

And now Tomovoz is here, too!
Briefly.  More electrical storms and we have lost power a few time today.
