Well, you've read the notes, you've forgotten the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the forgotten cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MAGNILOQUENT!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Topic of the Day:
Amnesia films: "Three Faces of Eve" and "Sybil" are the only ones that I can think of that I've seen.
Insane Asylum Film: "High Anxiety"
-
Morning all.
-
I saw part of the film that MR BK discusses in the notes today - but since I didn't get in from the beginning, I was lost and gave up....seeing it on regular TV with all the commercials didn't help. People kept popping up who didn't seem to have anything to do with the plot - it looked like a Universal Made For TV movie....
-
Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up... And I just heard my English muffins pop up.
-
As for The Topic of the Day...
Well...
As for "wacky": "The Shining"
;)
Or something like that.
Too rushed right now to think of anything else.
However...
-
Topic of the Day:
Amnesia films: "Three Faces of Eve" and "Sybil" are the only ones that I can think of that I've seen.
Oh... Are we including films about schizophrenia too? ;)
-
In any case...
I do need to get ready to head in for another day of auditions. Today is an "agent's submission" day which usually means I will be smiling all day while I'm at the piano. -And not one of those "OMG is this person really that bad" kind of smiles. ;D
Laters...
-
Good morning! Another lovely day in LA! Too bad we have to leave. Peter's coming back out in a week and a half for vacation. I'm jealous!

TOD:
Amnesia films? I don't seem to be able to remember any...
-
TOD:
Amnesia: DEAD AGAIN, MEMENTO, SPELLBOUND, MARNIE, MR. BUDDWING
Asylum: MAN FACING SOUTHEAST, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, TITICUT FOLLES, AMADEUS, THE RULING CLASS, HIGH ANXIETY

Bonus round: Favorite song--"Amnesia" by Chumbawumba

Off to work ....oh well.
-
Good morning, all! I slept late, partially provoked by another evening of escapades from the noisy neighbor above me sometime after 1:30 am.
I have a trek down to Toyland followed by lunch with Rob Berman. After that, I'll come back here to work on more Victor Herbert reports.
TOD: CABINET OF DR CALIGARI

Last night DR Jane wrote:
From what I'm reading the Snuggie is not soft & plush. Maybe you also want a Slanket Have you touched one?
I have never heard of a Slanket before you mentioned it last night. They show the snuggie on the shopping channel sometimes. Although i thought they said it was soft. But the imitations i see at the store do not look like they would be soft.
The snuggie is very popular. I think oprah had it on her show too. I guess read some reviews and see which ones people say are the most comfortable.
-
Bonus round: Favorite song--"Amnesia" by Chumbawumba
DR Edi, I love that song too. I've been looking for a link to it...

TOD:
Amnesia - MIRAGE (My late client, Edward Dmytryk, directed) and MEMENTO

I'm packing up and will y'all when I'm back in the ATL. I'm going straight to my in-laws to see my D-I-L and then to the hospital on the way home to see M-l-L, so it will probably a while!

I was chuckling over all the em dashes in our script!

Amnesia or memory-loss movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento, the original Manchurian Candidate (Or did I just mix two wacky genres?)
Insane Asylum Movies: Shock Corridor, High Anxiety
-
My favorite wacky genre in fiction lately is what I call the enobling white trash fiction, which was also known as the Oprah book selection a few years back. Dreadful tales of poor white girls in novel after novel. Titles like "The Book of Ruth," "She's Come Undone," "Ellen Foster," "Rapture of Canaan." All really silly in their earnestness and depressing nature. And all marked with Oprah's blessing. All seemingly marked for made-for-TV movies.
This goes back to the discussion of why watch something you know to be crap. I couldn't get enough of these books. Each was uniquely awful, but it was like chocolates in a box. I kept reading each and enjoyed howling at them.
-
And the word of the day is: MAGNILOQUENT!
And The Song Of The Day Is: I AM WHAT I AM
-
I have to go with some of the other folks' choices for the TOD:
Spellbound, Ruling Class, They Might Be Giants, Manchurian Candidate, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
-
MIRAGE
DS Betsy has been trying for years to remember an amnesia movie she saw (that's rather funny, now that I think about it), where someone was brainwashed and there was a scene in an elevator where striking a match was the "code" (a la Manchurian Candidate) to get the amnesiac to do something. Does that ring a bell with anyone?
-
I see from BK's last post last night that MBarnum and I are once again "and the rest." If even that. ::)
-
Good morning!
Pleasant day here. I had a good walk this morning, but it is a trifle overcast today. Still, we're not scheduled to get rain until Sunday.

Favorite asylum movie: THE SNAKE PIT
though the asylum sequences in THE NUN'S STORY are actually my favorite of all time.
I saw THE THIRD DAY at a drive-in when it came out and never again since. I can't remember anything about it at all except George Peppard was the star.
-
Work project today is, of course, TOY STORY 2 on Blu-ray. Since I think it's an even finer film than the original TOY STORY, I am REALLY looking forward to watching it this afternoon.
-
Percy Faith wrote the music for THE THIRD DAY, IIRC.
-
In fact, I think there may have even been a theme song with a lyric by Livingston-Evans, which Percy recorded as a 45, but which never made it to LP.
-
I am seeing a naturopath today to see if she can come up with solutions for this stupid kidney/back pain and my chronic skin problems.
-
I think Dustin probably would remember Charlie, as Dustin was the beneficiary of Charlie's rather generous largesse in Dustin's early hardscrabble years in NYC. Of course, that was Charlie's side of the story, LOL.
-
TOD
"The Snake Pit"
-
But even Mel Brooks alludes to it (in a sort of tangential way) on the commentary for the original PRODUCERS when he talks about Dustin leaving the cast (he was going to do the Wilder role), and throwing pebbles at Brooks' apartment window on W. 11th--all of those buildings (including the one Dustin lived in) were owned by Charlie.

Virginia's on the rug!

I started reading Agatha Christie's short story "Three Blind Mice" last night. This is the story that her famous, long-running play THE MOUSETRAP is based on.
For years, I avoided reading THE MOUSETRAP (or this story) or going to see or audtion for the play in community theater productions because I wanted my first experience with it to be in London where it's been running since 1952.
Fairly recently, I was reading a think piece about mystery films by critic Manny Farber (this was written many years ago and collected in a book of his reviews and think pieces). In this piece, he foolishly and thoughtlessly revealed the identity of the killer in THE MOUSETRAP thus ruining the solution of the mystery for me (and I assume many others who had never seen the play or read the story or manuscript) and making it impossible to play along with Dame Agatha with a first viewing of her work on stage.
Thus, I made up my mind that since the ending was now ruined, I'd go ahead and first read the short story version and then read the play manuscript to see how Dame Agatha changed it (if she did; she often added things or changed things when adapting her fiction into play form).
I didn't get very far into the story last night. I was very tired. Maybe I can get more read tonight.
-
Virginia's on the rug!
Virginia, Virginia,
The devil is in ya!
Virginia, don't go too far.
-
With the preemption of CBS' lineup by the NCAA basketball tournament and Fox and the CW in reruns, I only have NBC's THE OFFICE/30 ROCK, ABC's FLASH FORWARD, and PROJECT RUNWAY to watch/record tonight.

Greetings from Toyland!

Heading down now to get ready to go out on my usual Friday errands (on Thursday). I want to get them over with before heading out to lunch with friends.

Actually, tomorrow is the last day of my "term," but I will know after 3:30 whether or not I have to report. Pray for you-know-what.

....anyhow...I do plan on coming up to see the Brain, once BK has decided what day he will be there. Not only will it be wonderful to see our two Washingtonian DRs, but it will also be a lot of fun to see my all time favorite musical play!
-
Vibes for JMK and for Ginny!

BK, did you get the Warner Archives DVD of UNTAMED YOUTH? It is swell!
-
BK, you will be pleased with the location shooting in Adam 12 season 4
....and for those who care, SHOUT FACTORY is releasing DRAGNET season 2. I suspect this will have extras as I happen to know that several DRAGNET performers (and one former Jack Webb wife) got together last weekend for some on camera interviews.

Jane, I'm glad you're trying LARK RISE TO CANDLEFORD. I really like this series, but I don't know of anyone else who's heard of it.
We enjoy the English series & trade off recommendations with friends. They suggested this one & the beloved DOC MARTIN. We gave them FOYLE'S WAR, CRANFORD, NORTH & SOUTH, and WIVES & DAUGHTERS.

Good luck Ginny.

Hoo-Hah! A very big package arrived at my house today! BK, thank you, thank you, thank you! Now what to listen to first this embarrassment of riches! The book looks great! Very handsome! Mucho thanks again! You're a pal!

New Warner Archive titles I just ordered:
THE EDDIE CANTOR STORY
THE STORY OF WILL ROGERS

I'm up. I guess the gas company is coming closer to noon than seven, which is good since I was up till two watching three Adam 12 episodes. It's quite addictive. No real Valley locations yet, but wonderful shots of Venice and Hollywood (right at Franklin near Cahuenga, which looks exactly the same today.

I've had one more e-mail about the skipping problem at King. Depending on how many arrive today, I've informed the pressing plant that they'll have to just press up replacement discs and have them ready to deliver to me.

DR elmore raved about Cranford so we had to watch it, and then watch the other two shows available on NetFlix. I haven't read any of Elisabeth Gaskell's books & do hope to rectify that in the near future.

I see from BK's last post last night that MBarnum and I are once again "and the rest." If even that. ::)
Maybe you will get better billing in the second season.

Perhaps KING will arrive at my house today and I can check for skipping. But of course I won't know until almost 7 pm -being at work and all.

Striking a match doesn't strike a chord as far as movies go, DR JMK.

DR Jose, We don’t have a Bed Bath & Beyond. I recently read a Best Buy will be coming our way soon. This is a big deal & wish it were already here. Linens & Things was exciting until it went out of business. I was thrilled when a Tuesday Mornings was about to open, until it opened. We might get the stores here but they aren’t always stocked as well as other locations.
I can find Snuggies at other stores here. Keith read the reviews comparing the Snuggie & Splanket and said he wants the Splanket. It is larger & according to all the reviews I read softer & plusher. I personally fear he will be too warm with plusher. I agree with Edi, the Splanket guy is cute.
I’m sure our snow dog does not want a Snuggie unless it comes with air conditioning for the summer. ;)

I also enjoy the Terry Gilliam films "Brazil" and "Time Bandits".

Just spoke with Nick Redman - his copy plays fine, so that's good. And the test copy that the plant kept also plays fine. So, hoping it's really intermittent and not a huge deal.

DerBrucer, I wish I could do that. He would be very well behaved.
-
In fact, with the two or three I played, Nick's, the plant copy, it's now an even split between good and problem copies - I've only really heard from six people thus far.

So, there IS a skipping problem.
I wasn't sure if it was my player or the disc.
Do we have to send the old one back, or will you just replace it?

Yes JMK, we will have to decide which one of us is Mary Ann and which one is the Professor.
Now this is a quandary!

Another Asylum movie: "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade," a.k.a. "Marat/Sade."

It's warm here today. I haven't checked the thermometer, but I'll bet it's in the low 70s.

Lunch ran long, so when I got in, I immediately put in TOY STORY 2. The movie was just as funny and just as touching as I remembered it. Absolutely love the Randy Newman song "When Somebody Loved Me." That sequence is just as moving in its own way as the story of the marriage in the recent UP. When it comes to mixing humor and heart, nobody comes close to Pixar these days.

I didn't have time to do all the bonus features, but I did do all of the new added for Blu-ray features this afternoon. I'll do the carryover vintage DVD features when I goi back down. They will take me a good90 minutes at least to do.

Since AS THE WORLD TURNS is preempted for the rest of the week by NCAA basketball, at least I don't have that to catch up with. I should have time to skim through today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. The boys are on today, so I'm eager to see it.

Back from a rather interesting visit with the naturopath. There is no way I can delicately repeat some of her advice on a family site, other than to allude to the fact that she recommended I "reach completion" (if you catch my drift) as much as possible, either with or without my spouse. I am still giggling. Had I known this was the sort of advice a naturopath gives, I would have visited MUCH sooner. :)

Hello, everyone.
I thought I had today free--no appointments, nothing that had to be done. I thought I'd catch up on all the stuff I hadn't gotten to, ie, the overflow. Well, somehow all those little things that I thought would only take a minute or two have consumed much of the day--and I haven't even finished. Oy!

You don't even want to know (nor could I even "make acceptable") what she thinks Betsy should be doing for me (nothing sexual, just something rather weird). Has anybody here ever dealt with a company, DVD TV?

Good Afternoon!
It was a good day of auditions. We had one young woman who came in and totally WOW'd us. I mean totally! We were all quite surprised that none of us had seen her before, then we looked at her resume. She's mainly been concentrating on just acting, no singing. However, after today... Again, WOW!
-
Where is everyone? Reaching completion?

Well, I just finished listening to "The Man Who Would Be King" and there was no skipping on my CD. :)
-
And we finished at 4:00 today too! -And I'm still on the clock for another 15 minutes. :)

Of course, I headed home, and then... proceeded to take an impromptu nap on my couch. At least I opened the doors to the back patio before I did. It really is a gorgeous day.

Yay for George's CD - and I had another report of a successful playing, so I'm hoping that it's only sporadic and that the majority will play okay. I won't really know until the big online dealer gets and ships his copies - he's got the majority of the run. Druxy, no one need send anything back - we'll be sending out replacements as soon as we have a handle on how many copies might be involved. It will probably take two weeks to sort it all out. Meanwhile, try it on another player.

Watched Lost - I'm with it till the end, but, you know, maybe this new-fangled TV stuff just doesn't do it for me. That said, of course, there were many episodes early on that I enjoyed very much, while this final season not one episode has come close to those - and, as I've stated, the alternate timeline is just, I don't know, like flailing. If they pay it off brilliantly I'll be the first one to say it.

Remember my mother's youngest brother, my Uncle Bob? I got this email from my cousin Sue today:
He is slipping fast. He knew I was in the room, but I'm not sure he knew who I was. He tried to talk, but all he could do was mutter a few words that I couldn't understand. His hands are very swollen. He can't eat or drink, and they can't give him an IV because his kidneys can't handle the fluids. He would drown in his own body fluids if they did that. They can give him a few drops of water from an oral syringe and wipe his mouth with glycerine swabs. His eyes roam around the room as if he's seeing things the rest of us can't see. From time to time, I thought I saw a look of recognition in his eyes, but that may have been wishful thinking.
Please send him vibes for a swift and painless passing. I don't think there's anything better I could wish for him at this point.

As I wrote when MR BK announced the title....I really enjoy this movie.....I think we saw it 5 times out of the seven nights it was on at the local Jerry Lewis Cinema way back when.....

Gas Man is here.
Eugene O'Neill's The Gas Man Cometh
Has he been to DR JMK's natureopath?
-
Almost time for THE OFFICE.
Wonder how DR JOSE's auditions went today.....since it was supposed to be full of special people.
My friend Zachary was indeed on the second LAW & ORDER SVU last night. He played Jason....the "boyfriend" of the victim who stood on his porch and yelled at her in one scene threatening to put her actions on YOU TUBE.
-
Vibes for Uncle Bob and DR Elmore.
-
Congrats, DR Ginny, on the jury reprieve.
-
OK, it's officially spring in San Antonio. The ice cream truck is playing its way down my street now.
-
Vibes of comfort for DR Elmore's Uncle Bob and {{{{{Hugs}}}}}for DR Elmore.
-
Ginny, congrats on your new found freedom :)
Thanks, DR Jane!
-
Ginny, I'm pleased that you can plan your life again. What a drag that must have been!
Thank you, DR Jeanne - yes, it was pretty confining.
-
Congrats, DR Ginny, on the jury reprieve.
Thank you, DR John G!

Prayers for Uncle Bob.

I turned on my computer & the news about Fess Parker popped up. I almost cried. Davy Crockett was a very important part of my childhood. More than ever I'm missing the missing post card Davy Crockett sent me from Palm Springs.
My dad actually got to meet Fess Parker when he (my dad) was in the army! My dad has a picture of the two of them together.
My parents stayed at the same hotel & were sitting with him by the pool. They asked him to write the card for their daughter that was madly in love with him. :) They said he was very nice.

Vibes of comfort and peace for dear Uncle Bob.
And for Larry, lots of fond memories of him to wash away the grief.
~~~Ditto and Ditto!!!~~~
-
Poor Uncle Bob. DR Jeanne says it all.
....anyhow...I do plan on coming up to see the Brain, once BK has decided what day he will be there. Not only will it be wonderful to see our two Washingtonian DRs, but it will also be a lot of fun to see my all time favorite musical play!
That would be great! ;D
-
And speaking of MBarnum's "all time favorite musical play," I'm off to rehearsal, after a bit of a bite to eat.
Until later!
-
Thank you all for the vibes!
As for me, I am okay. I thought several years ago he would be dead within a short period of time and he amazed me several times. I'm happy that the battle between his failing body and strong will to live is nearing a conclusion. I will miss him, and I'm really sorry I won't be in Ohio to be with my cousins for his burial. He was always good to me, and I did love very much.
-
good vibes to Uncle Bob and much love to our dear Larry
Greetings from Toyland!
Bruce, if Keith & I both go to Olympia we will have Sherlock with us.
Is that a threat?
-
Good evening. It was 65 degrees today!!!!! Hard to believe. Tomorrow it will rain and possibly snow. We could use a good hard rain to wash all the dirt away that was left after all the snow melted
-
Vibes to all who need them
-
Bruce, if Keith & I both go to Olympia we will have Sherlock with us.
Have him wear a "Service Dog" scarf and take him to the show. (Sherlock, not Keith).
der Brucer
You don't even need a "Service Dog" scarf. In Washington State it is illegal to question someone about their service animal.
Back from a rather interesting visit with the naturopath. There is no way I can delicately repeat some of her advice on a family site, other than to allude to the fact that she recommended I "reach completion" (if you catch my drift) as much as possible, either with or without my spouse. I am still giggling. Had I known this was the sort of advice a naturopath gives, I would have visited MUCH sooner. :)
Nurse!
Almost time for a new PWOJECT WUNWAY.
-
DR GINNY - your life is now once again your own! Hurray!
Oy! I worked from 5:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. today. It has been a long day.
Remember my mother's youngest brother, my Uncle Bob? I got this email from my cousin Sue today:
He is slipping fast. He knew I was in the room, but I'm not sure he knew who I was. He tried to talk, but all he could do was mutter a few words that I couldn't understand. His hands are very swollen. He can't eat or drink, and they can't give him an IV because his kidneys can't handle the fluids. He would drown in his own body fluids if they did that. They can give him a few drops of water from an oral syringe and wipe his mouth with glycerine swabs. His eyes roam around the room as if he's seeing things the rest of us can't see. From time to time, I thought I saw a look of recognition in his eyes, but that may have been wishful thinking.
Please send him vibes for a swift and painless passing. I don't think there's anything better I could wish for him at this point.
Consider them sent.
I wonder if Fess Parker will be buried with one of those coonskin caps we were writing about just days ago.
Vibes for UNCLE BOB and DR ELMORE....and thanks to the latter for the YANK.
::) The dog doesn't even have to wear the service jacket? Amazing. How do they know you are sneaking the dog in? There are plenty of people who have service dogs that look perfectly healthy.
That is the point. They are not allowed to question the animal (or rather the person about the animal). People bring their dogs of all varities into the suppermarkets and into restaurants.
A lot of people suddenly have "service dogs" to ease their anxieties.
DR GINNY - your life is now once again your own! Hurray!
Yay! Thanks, DR JRand!
lol. Maybe we will move to Washington. Do you ever seen jackets on the dogs?
We took Sherlock to Office Depot today & as usual he got lots of attention in the store.
We each got a new wireless keyboard & mouse. I got speakers for my computer that arrived today (Keith still has to set it up) and was going to buy a desk chair. The only one available was the floor model & they wanted to charge the full price + $8.00 for assembling it. They would have shipped one at no extra cost. I found it online for less + free shipping. I need to double check the measurements. If they work I'll order it.
In fact, I think there may have even been a theme song with a lyric by Livingston-Evans, which Percy recorded as a 45, but which never made it to LP.
"Love Me Now"
-
I think Dustin probably would remember Charlie, as Dustin was the beneficiary of Charlie's rather generous largesse in Dustin's early hardscrabble years in NYC. Of course, that was Charlie's side of the story, LOL.
What was Charlie's last name?
-
But even Mel Brooks alludes to it (in a sort of tangential way) on the commentary for the original PRODUCERS when he talks about Dustin leaving the cast (he was going to do the Wilder role), and throwing pebbles at Brooks' apartment window on W. 11th--all of those buildings (including the one Dustin lived in) were owned by Charlie.
Oh, I bet he would remember him then. It's odd the things you assume people would remember, like recording the narration for THE POINT, but he didn't remember that, or who Harry Nilsson was (who did the song "Everybody's Talking" form MIDNIGHT COWBOY) but then remembered all the lyrics to an obscure song that he thought Nilsson wrote.
DR Amy, CONTINUED VIBES FOR DH PETER’S PARENT’S!!!
Thanks, Jane!
Greg's dad is home now, so I will be doing some "dad-sitting" this weekend.
-
Lunch ran long, so when I got in, I immediately put in TOY STORY 2. The movie was just as funny and just as touching as I remembered it. Absolutely love the Randy Newman song "When Somebody Loved Me." That sequence is just as moving in its own way as the story of the marriage in the recent UP. When it comes to mixing humor and heart, nobody comes close to Pixar these days.
That song destroys me!
~~~~~TRAVEL VIBES TO DR EDISAURUS AND HER DH GREG~~~~~
Oh, just to make things clear, my trip to LA was with my director, Peter. Greg didn't go---he had to work and tend to parents.
Thanks for the travel vibes for me and for Peter!

Thanks to JMK we have a new "M" to add to the Medical Marijuana list.
Do you need a Dr.'s prescrption?

Note - do not do your medical exercises while driving.

When I went back down, I finished watching the bonus features on the TOY STORY 2 Blu-ray. Enjoyed some of the featurettes from the last DVD release (which I never bought) or some of these were probably from the ULTIMATE TOY BOX release. Regardless, some of them were interesting and fun. Some were just filler.

I have reached completion (so to speak) on this massive choral piece I've been working ...
Stains on the music - how unseemly!

Yep, it makes me tear up every single time I watch the movie. It's just magical.

Then I skimmed through today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. As DR Elmore said, Oliver was on alone, and then just barely (getting drunk at a bar on St. Paddy's Day). Not a memorable episode.
-
Next I watched last night's UGLY BETTY. Some good comedy and some good drama for the show. So sorry it's coming to an end, especially now that Justin is discovering his own path, Hilda has a gorgeous fiance, and Betty is about to get her braces off. I'm really going to miss this show.
-
Then I watched tonight's two hour FLASH FORWARD. I have to admit when it was airing its last few episodes before Christmas, I was getting a bit bored with it. The show seemed to be spinning its wheels, and the characters just seemed like they were flailing around with no purpose or consistent motivation.
Tonight's two episode show was the antithesis of those last episodes: taut, interesting, compelling. Really got me hooked on the show again.Can't wait to see where it's going.

With my finishing TOY STORY 2, I am now empty of review product, so I will have the entire weekend off! Fox has THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX coming out next week, but I don't expect it to arrive until Tuesday at the earliest, so I'm just thrilled about having a few days and nights to myself to watch whatever I want.
Now I just need to decide what my choices will be!

I simply cannot get enough of Francois Dompierre. I have been playing his music much of the day. (I'm listening to INFERNAL VIOLINS, a CD I love, but hadn't listened to in a while.)

I guess I'll head downstairs now, do some reading, and then go to sleep.
Good night!

Tonight I interviewed Mr. Joe Lanza, dancer...he is featured in the films ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK, DON'T KNOCK THE ROCK, CHA CHA CHA BOOM!, and VIRGIN SACRIFICE.

Completion vibes for JMK.

Good Evening!
My friends, Michael & Elizabeth, prepared a wonderful dinner of guacamole, fish tacos - with an amazing avocado-cilantro-cumin crema, arroz gandules, and some fresh pineapple for dessert. After dinner, Michael wanted to show off his new "toy": Apple TV. So, lots of various and sundried YouTube clips. :) All in all, a very nice evening.

And speaking of YouTube...
May I present: Violetta Villas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh4_0mk6L48)

~~~~~VIBES FOR UNCLE BOB AND HIS DEAR NEPHEW ELMORE~~~~~
DR JRand -
Good Afternoon!
It was a good day of auditions. We had one young woman who came in and totally WOW'd us. I mean totally! We were all quite surprised that none of us had seen her before, then we looked at her resume. She's mainly been concentrating on just acting, no singing. However, after today... Again, WOW!
;)
Dang. Drunk Duane calls from yet another number.
:-\
Is there any possibility that this is some sort of not-so-elaborate, long-winded prank?
Couldn't you just give him "her" "new" number the next time he calls?
Finished with my viewing. I'm trying to figure out exactly how to deal with replacement discs - because if I'm sending out all of them, including ones from dealer orders, I could conceivably get 1000 e-mails with addresses, which I'd then have to print out. I'm thinking that I will also charge the plant a fee for someone to come here and do this work because I'm not doing it.
I don't want to give him any idea that I know who Mary is. And I don't.
-
One of our clients that i worked on tonight does his taxes by the Percentage of Completion Method.
I thought JMK might be amused.
Well...
And the same thing happened last week with "Grey's Anatomy." I'll need to watch both of those on-line...which isn't so bad with a new computer and 24" wide-screen hi-def monitor...not bad at all. :D
