Good morning dear DR Ciwwa ..... I guess I hadn't realized that you were a "fellow" Prius driver.  I'm on my second one now, and I've never had a car that I liked any better, as far as performance, solidness, quiet insulation, no problems, and of course mileage.

I wonder if any other H/Ks or DRs are also in the Prius fraternity (or sorority, if you prefer) ?

But I'm not leaving yet and to prove it I've just sung a chorus of And I Am Telling You I Am Not Going.

I have a lead on a sublet - expensive, but less than anything else I've found - still looking, but this one is in a great location - in fact, it seems like it would be very close to FJL's home environment.  Most importantly, it has A/C and wireless.

Good morning dear Esteemed, frustrated, rested, frenzied, ravishing, and rankled BK --

Oh grand Mensch, I wanted to let you (and the dear studlies and lovelies) know that I will be away from home, from tomorrow (Sunday) until I return on this coming Friday (17th).  I will not have computer access while I'm gone, so know that thoughts and vibes are being sent out to you daily.

And I promise to take care of my hickey, and use sunscreen!

Dear DR Laura..... yes, the saucepans turned up in a carton with an unopened bag of tortilla chips on the top.  So I had thought that the entire box was pantry stuff.

Go know !!

BK - Nice news on the sublet lead.  Sounds like it would be very convenient to your theater, too, of course.

Dog Bosco is now in the hands of the vet clinic, about to go under the knife...or whatever they use to extract a bad tooth.

I don't mind saying that I am most nervous, even though it is a simple procedure, cause they always have that paper you have to sign to make you  aware that the pet could pass away while under anesthesia.

Anyway, I can pick him up later this afternoon.

Vibes for Bosco!  He'll probably feel a lot better with that pesky tooth outta there.

It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in NYC!  It's currently 71 degrees, with a high of 80 predicted for this afternoon.  And Sunny!  :)

Alas, I probably should take it easy around the Reservoir today - and in the near future - at least until whatever is flaring up in my right hip/leg stops flaring up.  I've had issues with sciatica before, but there are signs that I actually may be developing rheumatoid arthritis in my right hip. :-\

In any case, I'm really trying to be more active and more conscientious about my diet lately.  And, yes, I want/need to lose those pesky 10-15 pounds I've been trying to lose the past three years.  -But at least I haven't gained any since the last "drop".  So that's good.

In any case... It's still a beautiful day here in NYC. :)

Great idea!  We need to get T-shirts for all the HHWers to wear around the NYMF

"I'm A Brainiac"  and then on the back The Brain From Planet X with the dates, time and location

Can I order one, even if I can't be there?

A happy Saturday filled with fun, joy, and ruggalah to all of the lovelies and studlies here this morning.

Wow...are you spying on me, DR MusicGuy? I just had a chocolate ruggalah with my bagel!

I just packed up 4 huge boxes of VHS tapes, and that's after throwing out 2 huge trash cans full of tapes. 2 boxes are just stuff I've edited.

That doesn't even include the VHS tapes my DH worked on. I am going to let him weed those out himself.

There is a great documentary on HBO about Hiroshima/Nagasaki, as told by the people who lived through it. It's heart-rending, but very well-done: WHITE LIGHT, BLACK RAIN.

Me, too! Awwwwwwwww, Boo-Key in his little white hat that he picked the invisible rabbit out of ... Thanks, Jorge -- what a great photo montage to begin my day (but of course I'm biased!)  ;D

Me, three!  Love the choices, George!

MARVELOUS MATT is here again today. Since he's soooo good at fixing things, I've asked him if he can fix my Hermann Miller office chair, the one that's been broken for years. You see? It never ends.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for HOT FUZZ to arrive today. I have other things I can watch, but I'd love to see it either tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

It certainly should! You got your notice before me and mine arrived yesterday! (Mailed from Allentown PA).

At least as of right now, BUKOWSICAL is THE top sotory on playbill.com.  Cason is of course mentioned in the article.
