It got quite cold last night, and sometime after 2:00 Annabelle crawled under the blankets with me. I slept rather well, but I had a lot of strange dreams, of which I only remember fragments. One wasabout a bus trip that took a different route than usual. I remember more of one which seemed to be in some sort of lab, with bodies floating in tanks..
Dearth by Choice is the title of my next memoir.

As an alternative, Girth By Design?
DR George, thanks for thew link to the Figaro production. The first act looks good, then the production startys getting strange with nuns and patients in the Countess' budoir. Seems to be a lot of sickness abouit thjis production.
To answer your question, DR JohnG, I ordered the new "I Can Get It For You Wholesale" CD.

Perhaps the title of my autobiography.
Meat Loaf and Louie Anderson have died.
I am pleased to report that my 1 p.m. appointment (a video conference) went by without a hitch. I am declared to be "doing well" per my labs in spite of all the things I have working against me. Age is not the least of them.
To which I ask: Only two?
Meat Loaf apparently died of covid. Don’t know if he were vaxxed or not.
I’m ushering in a bit for a panel discussion on Rwanda. Not as exciting as Neil deGrasse Tyson, but it should be interesting.
Friday evening greetings! Today I made something for tomorrow's dinner that we haven't had in a long time. The Cincinnati Bengals have a playoff game, so we wanted something fun and easy. I made what my mother called "Stuffed Sandwiches:" Mix a block of grated sharp cheddar cheese, chopped black olives, and a bottle of chili sauce. Stuff that mixture into 8 hot dog buns and wrap by pairs in aluminum foil. Chill overnight, then bake (wrapped) in a 375o oven until the cheese is melty (maybe 20-25 minutes). We'll have those tomorrow around halftime with potato chips and baby carrots.

There might be protests of the Rwanda panel. Interesting.

Very good. Did you prefer doing the video appointment vs going to the office?
The sandwiches kind of taste like pizza. It IS a very weird-sounding combination, but it's always been a family favorite.
Something for BK!

The news is saying he was was outspokenly anti-vaccine mandate and anti-mask :(

Watched the second PBS program from Westport Country Playhouse - a cabaret program with Shoshana Bean. It was quite good.

I'd eat it.
It started a half-hour late. Then it featured a half-hour video of someone who is a high-ranking Rwandan official who spoke English very poorly, but it didn't matter. What I heard was pure propaganda and not worth listening to.

How big a block of cheese? A pound block? And what exactly is chili sauce? I would love to try these sandwiches.

Any plans for the weekend, George?
Going thru my month’s worth of mail today, I found notice that I was suppose to report for jury duty on Tuesday.

I hope you have a good excuse! ::)

So, if I get hauled off to jail, I will try to get Sharry to tell DR Jane.

I will see if I can think of one.
I hope that the fact I can’t drive and can’t walk will get me off the hook.
Not to mention the fact that I am almost as old as BK will also help.
