I hope you enjoy the Letterman show Jose - the last time we went I was hugely pregnant with the Vixter and the NBC usher  (yes it was in the pre CBS days) took one look at my huge belly  and decided that we did not need to wait in line but escorted us into the theater and the 2nd row - that evening while Dave was talking abou the guy that broke into that Waco compound while the FBI had it surrounded he pointed out Vixdad as being that guy

I just caught up to yetserday - congrats to Gabe on his People to People nomination  - the Vixter has been asked a few times now-  unfortunately the local chapter here does not seem to grant scholarships and it was well beyond our pocketbook - we actually just got another one this year  for  2 weeks in Australia - (this past summer's trip was to England, Scotland and Wales which I really would have liked for her to see since of course that is where Vixdad is from)

It isd past midnight now and  now I am forgetting things I wanted to say - oh yes DR Laura I am very happy about the kitties' eyesight and I am very sure it is all due to your tireless care of them -

you're still Saint Laura in my book!

I went last December - it was their final taping of the year, their Christmas show.  I had a blast, and I'm looking forward to seeing the show again tomorrow.  I think this will be my eighth or ninth time.

Aww, thanks Vixmom. I think it had more to do with the antibiotics, though.

Well... I'm tired, I'm sleepy, and I'm feeling a little "off", so... Time for bed.

Goodnight.

So far, not a stellar episode of Mad Men - more of a time passer, really, with almost none of it taking place at Sterling Cooper.

Spoiler Alerts?

??? I certainly don't see anything spoiled in that message.

Me either.

I love Lucy.

Then you must love Debra Messing.

She's the new Lucy, you know.

I've spent the last three hours (and four and a half in total) doing the edit road map and figuring out all the cues for the second half of the Holy Grail soundtrack.  This one was completely maddening for reasons I will explain in the notes - it gave me a splitting headache, so much so that I went to Jerry's Deli and got some chicken soup and rye bread to go - just ate it all up.  And I guess the horrible hot weather is done - it was nice today, and I actually had to heat the house up this evening.

Just watch REAP THE WILD WIND on dvd.  I have liked this movie since seeing it YEARS....no DECADES ago - on television.  Nice to see it in fair color.....but makes me glad that Paulette Goddard and Louise Beavers were not cast in GONE WITH THE WIND.

Last night I watched THE TOMB OF LIGEIA with Vincent Price.  I had never seen it and it is most entertaining and unusual....with lots of on location filming in England.

I hope people are up for the announcement, really I do.  I'll get the notes posted right at midnight or a little before, and then up goes the announcement.

I'm here (as usual).  I've been doing nothing but watching TV, making a DVD of "Mad Men" for a friend of mine and just hanging out.

I also made a test CD (actually, a 2-CD set) of the concert that François posted about the other day.  It's only one track on each disc right now, but I want to make sure that it all sounds okay before I take the time to break it up into tracks.  I think that it'll be fine, but I just want to make sure. :)
