And, no, the Fox Blu-ray discs did NOT come in today.

You're welcome to some of mine, LOL.  In today's mail I got the huge (and really very lovely) big boxed set of SNOW WHITE, plus 10 (count 'em) BD's from niche label Topics, which included a pretty cool multi-disc travelogue series to all sorts of exotic locales.  But, boy, do I have a lot of watching and writing to do now.

I just logged onto NASA, and had to stop looking when I found the archives (each one seems to have over 700 photos). I'm thinking about getting up at 4AM to watch the moon landing (oops, I meant crashing).

Goodnight everyone.

Congrats, Jose on your apartment news!

Thank You, DR George.  -It's more of a reprieve at this time rather than a victory, but at least I can "not stress" for the next couple of days.

Another Fall TV Season casualty:

NBC Cancels Well-Regarded ‘Southland’

NOOOOOOOOOO! Gosh darn it. I really, really love that show. I hope it finds another home, or at least airs the 6 unaired episodes.

My friend Margo loved this show, also.  They'll probably sell the DVD as "the complete series."

It turns out there are 12 seats being held for porduction staff during previews so I'm always guaranteed a seat. I saw Kevin Spirtas during intermission and had a nice chat with him. Tonight, the paying audience laughed loud and long, applauded and cheered, and stood for the cast, just as last night's audience carried on. There were two bits of magic absent tonight and i wonder if they were cut in this afternoon's rehearsal.

After the show, the cast went to Angus' and I came home. IOt was fun to come out the Stage door to find people waiting for the cast to sign posters and programs. My friend Victor, who's an enormous fan of Cheyenne's was there wearing his "cheyennetology" t-shirt. He asked me to sign his program.

Nice!
