Hey, Kerry! Don't forget you are telling the story today.

I probably should have reminded you earlier, huh?

Good morning!

The rain hasn't started yet, but it's gray outside now, and I know it's coming later this afternoon. It was very pleasant for my walk this morning, however, so I was grateful the rain hadn't started early.

DR Jose,

Send me your mailing address (I think I have it, but send it anyway to make sure), and I'll mail A CHRISTMAS TALE out to you tomorrow morning. I forgot to buy a turkey breast at the grocery store on Friday, so I'm heading to the store tomorrow morning to see if any are left, and the P.O. is next door, so I can put it in the mail then.

Merry Christmas (four weeks early)!

I will be working on A CHRISTMAS TALE today. Knowing nothing about it at all, I have to admit my interest is piqued. It IS long (2 1/2 hours), but hopefully, it'll be so engrossing I won't notice the length.

There is a second disc of bonus features, so I assume I won't get to them until tonight.

TV note:

Due to the American Music Awards tonight, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and BROTHERS & SISTERS will not be on.

I'll still have DEXTER and THREE RIVERS (On Demand) from tonight that I'll be able to watch at some point.

And I'll likely watch FLASHFORWARD while I eat lunch. That'll still leave THE OFFICE/30 ROCK, MONK, and GHOST WHISPERER (plus last night's rerun episode of THE MENTALIST, the one where Patrick is blinded and loses his sight for a time).

I'm running about 45 minutes behind schedule this morning. I slept more than 8 hours last night, the first time that's happened in a LONG time, so I was late getting up, late getting to my walk, late finishing the Sunday newspaper. Argh!

Hopefully, I can get laundry done on schedule and, of course, get my work project started at the right time, too.

Anyone else catch Al Gore's appearance on "SNL" last night?  -He provided quite a funny "commentary" during "Weekend Update".

Jack, Anthony had a dream last night and I wondered if the Dream-O-Matic could shed some light on it.

A friend of his (an older gentleman of 81 years) died in August. Anthony dreamed he was having a nice phone conversation with him. It was clearly current time. As they were speaking Anthony had a call come in on Call Waiting. It was his cousin. He said to George "let me call you back, it's my cousin and I need to speak to her" As Anthony was switching to speak to his cousin he said to himself "I can't call George back, he died" Then Anthony woke up. He wants to know if the dream has any meaning. Addendum, just earlier this month we also lost a very dear and close friend (she lived in Nottingham, England) to bone cancer. It was very sad. We knew it was coming but it was quicker than we thought. We wanted to take a trip to see her one last time and now we can't. I think the two incidents are related. Anthony's not sure.
