Floors mopped and vacuuming of the living area to follow. In about 15 minutes the clothes should be dry.

DRfjl, did you all have a truffle?

Larry - No truffles yet.  Looking forward to them , and we want to savor them by not mixing them with the leftover desserts from Thanksgiving Day.

I see a sci fi story here. "Day of the Truffles": strange bulbous creatures appear, supposedly from the planet Godiva, and anyone they touch becomes a horriblyoverweight sugar addict before collapsing in a diabetic coma. It sounds like my life.

I remember the book "Hooray for Me" where everyone heard "diabetes" as "diet beetles."

Here are the lovely Broadway World articles on the two-parter A LITTLE SITE MUSIC, or EVERY DAY A LITTLE NET.

http://www.broadwayworld.com/article/STAGE_TUBE_A_Little_Site_Music_Act_Two_20000101

And this from Frank Rizzo, theatre critic for the Hartford Courant:

http://blogs.courant.com/curtain/2009/11/thumbs-up-on-youtube-spoof-on.html

And this one's a blog I'd never seen before, but it's very very nice:

http://www.lemonwade.com/2009/11/25/a-little-site-music-brilliant/

As Jose may have heard if he's spoken with his friend Jim whose firm did the videos, sometimes comedy is (a) very hard; and (b) all about timing.  Jim's firm BTW got a really nice mention in the two Broadway World articles

DR fjl, you're becoming quite a celebrity! Excellent.

Apparently I forgot what day it was when I went to sleep last night,  I set my alarm which went off at 6:30 AM.  LOL. It took me a few minutes and hitting snooze a couple times before I realized it was Sunday and I don't have to go to the office....well I'm going to go to the office, but I don't HAVE to go to the office

I'm hopping off-line now and writing for a little bit before heading down to get laundry ready for washing and to start back up with the bonus features on LOST.

I'm down to getting  a writing desk for the office library and a tv for the waiting room.  I'm thinking a 26 inch - I'm going to mount it on the wall, so you need to be able to look up at it and see a clear picture.    Any suggestions?  I'm looking for inexpensive but still a picture that is half way decent

Cilla, yes we are also thinking Nancy's murder was not random.  I mentioned her "always open" door in one of my first posts--we had actually talked to her about it.  It wasn't just unlocked all the time, it was open, so that Bodhi, her Golden Retriever could come and go as he pleased.

We heard from some other neighbors that her I-pod had been stolen last week, she thought by some teen who lives behind her.  I hope the cops are following up on that lead.

The floors are mopped, living area vacuumed, and the laundry finished. Now to write some music.

I really think I fell asleep just a few minutes, if not seconds, after getting into bed last night.  And a solid eight and a half hours later, I woke up. :)

I did spend a bit of time in bed listening to NPR - I always tune in for "The Puzzler" on "Weekend Edition" - but then I put on my floor and started my day. Some cleaning, some grocery shopping, some cooking, some breakfasting (alas, not "on croissants and café au lait" - anyone else get that reference?), some more cleaning, and some laundry-ing.  All in all, a very good morning so far.  And I since it is such a nice day - temps in the upper-50s, I'm gonna try to get out of here in a bit and spend some time in the sun.

Sounds like Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper are together again for New Year's Eve. Excellent!

I have no more news.
