Glad I bought snow boots!

Julie, our screening is on Sunday the 3rd...10 people crammed into a tiny conference room. And I leave the afternoon of 5th. I feel bad that I'm dragging Greg up there and we haven't had a chance to arrange to do anything but he's also been so swamped that we'll have to figure it out as we go. We would love to see any and all who have time for us, apart from the night of the 2nd and on the 3rd...

Eating soup is much more fun than a Brazilian Butt Lift.

My hopes and wishes for 2010 do not include a Brazilian butt lift, but I do hope there's a future for "Finian" on the road. Sorry, DR E, to hear about the closing. And moving vibes for all moving ahead in the new year. I think a great many of us could use them. Happy new year, all!

OK.  Any chance of an HHW get together Mon evening Jan 4 for some dinner at a restaurant TBD?  Would that work for you and Greg, Amy?  Who else is interested?  Larry? Jose? FJL? Ben? DAW? Vixmom?  Who are our other NYers?

Sorry to hear about Finian's Rainbow.  Thoughts and vibes to DR ELMORE and the cast and staff - but they have a couple of weeks of what should be sell out audiences....AND the cast album in on its way!

MR BK - I would buy the proposed CD if only because they might put out a CD of the planned revival with a cast I am afraid of.

But would it be dueling PROMISES?  Would that affect the sales?

Good morning!

It's a gray day here for sure, but those clouds also kept the temperatures from dipping too low, and my walk this morning was just great. I hope the rain will stay away the rest of the day, too, especially if I end up going out to eat for lunch.

I had a feeling that FINIAN'S was not going to have a long run, but I am still utterly disappointed in its closing notice, and I send love and regrets to DR Elmore.

No UPS shipments yet, so I have no work for today thus far. If these Fox Blu-rays are going to come, I wish they'd get here today so I could get them watched and OVER WITH. I'm really not looking forward to either one of them. (GLEE is a different story, of course.)

Argh! My local CBS affiliate is preempting THE MENTALIST tonight for a local New Year's Eve special, and I REALLY wanted to see this episode again: the one where Lisbon gets accused of murder. I sure hope they're recording it and playing it in the early morning. I'll have to check local listings to be sure.

I'll likely watch VAN HELSING on Blu-ray if I don't end up with any work to do. It was another Christmas present, and I'm expecting a great video and audio transfer.

Well, I'm going to finish up on computer duties here and head downstairs to check the mail (in case the UPS man slipped up the walk and I didn't see him) and then get cleaned up for a potential lunch date out with best friend John.
