It isn't the first time. :)

And it won't be the last.

Damian Lewis is an amazing actor, too!

He reminds me of cross between Steve McQueen and Robert Lansing, mostly McQueen.

Dr. Casper is everything I hate about DVD extras.  A know-it-all pontificating pedant who's had so much facial surgery trying to be a DVD extras "star" that he looks embalmed.

Hey, are there any NYCers who might be able to record THIS for me on WCBS-TV (channel 2 in the tri-state area) on Tuesday, November 27th?  I'd greatly appreciate it. :)

I just got an email containing some very lovely photos which might be of interest to fellow HHWers. . .
The subject line was "Being in the Right Place at the Right Time," and I do believe that DR DearReaderLaura will fully agree with that subject.
Instead of posting all the photos, I put them into an album for all the world to see:

Those are some pretty cool pictures, td!  I've seen a few of them before, but not all of them.  Thanks for posting! :D

I was up on the 10th floor of our building and looked out a window toward the San Francisco Bay (a western view).  Take a look at the fog rolling in:

I'm off.  Tonight, I'm ushering for the silent movie, "Piccadilly" with Anna May Wong, "brilliantly restored by the British Film Institute."  It will have live organ music played by Dennis James (he has a pretty impressive bio on the website).  It should be very exciting!

We're seeing the Cirque du Soleil show WINTUK to celebrate Skip's birthday tomorrow.   I hear the snow effect is particularly spectacular.

BK -- any idea what this new Intrada release will be...the one to be announced in 17 minutes, or so, that Nick Redman produced?

And if you do, can you "name" it?

I wish. No, I have to do this "self-evaluation" (it's a tightly structured form with check boxes and some room for written exposition) and give it to my supervisor. She then gives me her evaluation of me and then we go into a room and "discuss"

I used to have to do that - I gave myself very good ratings and suggest you do the same

;D  It is obvious we spend too much time at vets & concentration on the health of our pets.

I hope you got into the swing of your presentation.

Thank you George, either way it won’t be a big deal.  Of course we prefer it to go away without surgery.

DR Jane, I hope you understood. It was just the line "I thought of you at the vet today" not the issues about Sherlock. You know I wish you the best on that

Had a long day driving to Des Moines and back (6 hours + round trip) and attending the seminar and speaking.  It was a good day, though and was nice to show my former colleagues I do know about immigration.  I had a number of lawyers say they would be calling. So it looks like it was a good day business wise
