SUGAR has been ordered.

I saw the show when it played the Dorothy Chandler in Los Angeles.

Same cast, except that my client, Gale Gordon, played the Cyril Richard role.

CD has been ordered.....now I am a penniless  bum.

DRMBARNUM - for some reason I thought you were moving LAST week.

But never pitiful!

Good morning, all! I stayed up too late watching three insane New Jersey housewives behave badly; Caroline seems to be the only sane one and, like Cassandra, no one listens. After that I slept fitfully with one dream that kept repeating like GROUNDHOG DAY, although I now have no memory of it.

Today, a session at Toyland with Mr Skip Kennon and a lot of writing about Victor Herbert.

TOD:
DVD: the Netflix items still sit here and I have no idea what they are now
CD: Guy Haines, Liz Callaway, overtures by Auber, some piano music by Gottschalk
VCR: No, "Let America Come" is not there; IT'S A CD!

Happy Birthday wishes to those who need them, former DR's or otherwise.

I'm ready for school and very excited to go.  I believe all of the Sunset Blvd potentials have accepted, as of last night we were waiting on 2 people.  If they accept, we have a fantastic cast.

I'm off... might be e/t until the evening, depends if I can have time during the school day to check in.

Happy Birthday wishes to Joy and MattH who left in a hough (In best Groucho Marx voice: "that's too fast; you could leave in a minute and a hough!")

TOD:

Ye Olde iPod: "Shabbos A Capella" - assorted Jewish a capella groups doing traditional & original songs
DVD drive: One of the Blue Collar comedy shows
Nightstand: The Atlantic Cryptic Crosswords (Cox & Rathvon are twisted and demented puzzle-setters: why I torture myself right before going to bed is beyond me)

Friday morning greetings!  We are about to have a rainstorm, but I don't think it has anything to do with Earl.  I honestly can't remember if it's rained since I came home from the hospital almost 4 weeks ago.

Got an email notification that our copy of Druxy's book is actually out for delivery today (rather than the originally forecast September 8th),

but we didn't plan on being available to get it, so we may not get it until Tuesday (which is the 7th).

I have no ideas which musical numbers we will attack today.

I've packed up all of my Herbert recording material to schlep home and begin writing notes, but most importantly, I've turned on the AC.

No effects from Earl here in Conshohocken (nor in Pennsauken, for that matter...)
