Oh, I failed to mention that not only are we combining the 3 keyboard parts into 2, it's actually 4 parts into 2 as we are not using a harp.

I have no more words...

Have you contacted any of the other theatres/MDs that have just done Sunset Blvd? I had some friends up in the recent Ogunquit Playhouse production that starred Stephanie Powers.

I contacted the theatre in Portland that is doing the show in October.  I've heard nothing back.

DR elmore - Regarding those Wagner editions - I'd give a call over to Juilliard. Start with the bookstore, and then check with their library.

After the treatment I got from the Juilliard Library when I was trying to track down Herbert music for the recording, I think I'd rather go to Mannes and the Manhattan School of Music!

Laura the beautiful photos (only sent two) were much appreciated.  I know I should take my camera more, thing is a camera slows you down.  My purpose is to hike, keep moving and to get my heart rate up. :)  As it is I don't go as fast as I would like, or as far.

Jennifer I understand how your parents feel.  I was surprised the email from my niece came through Facebook.  Keith doesn't have FB so it didn't include him.  At the bottom of a separate email I asked my brother if he heard from her.  I hope so.  On the other hand I hope your parents don't take it personally.

Dear Jane,

It's time for your Dear Santa letter:

The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne has a starting price of $285,000. No more than 800 of the "ultra-luxury" sedans will be made annually. Each takes nine weeks to build. (Bentley / April 28, 2010)

The weather is absolutely gorgeous this morning.

But absolutely gorgeous mornings this time of year tend to make me think of that other absolutely gorgeous morning...

Was it a morning like this?

;)

Thank you for that, DR Jose.

Thanks, everyone.....turns out that the phone in the box office was unplugged during box office hours yesterday and the genius working in there (a college professor) didn't bother to make sure it was connected - even though he had not received ONE CALL between 5 o'clock and 6:30.....not ONE!

I've just purchased my air tickets to and from Ohio for Thanksgiving week. The Macbeths will be in Florida, probably inspecting their embezzled Cayman accounts.

I've just found out that my next foster will be a sick big kitten that needs some meds so she can get well and go to adoptions. This is because it seems that KITTEN SEASON IS OVER!
