And water everything in the yard, and wash the car... Heck -- call the local church and see if the kids want to do a car wash.

LOL, the sad thing is it's going to rain all week.  I don't need to do all that.  If it's nice one of these nights, maybe I'll powerwash the deck and the gazebo to get them ready for painting

You may water everything in MY yard. No rain in sight.

The funny part is I really did use a lot of water during the past couple weeks.  It took 3-4 loads in the dish washer just to get my new dishes washed.  I used quite a bit of water doing the tiling and clean up.  I ran a lot of water after I unclogged the drain etc.  I won't be able to do a wash a thon tonight because I have to go to a marathon city council meeting, but they aren't coming until Thursday.  Plenty of time to use water.  I'm sure they'll just charge me the minimum.  That's what I normally use

I'm waiting for a radio guy from Washington State to call me at noon for an interview.

 :)

Just got off the phone with the guy.

We talked for over an hour.

It went well.

Details magazine interview with Jon Hamm.

Last night's MAD MEN episode was most entertaining.

Feeling a bit under the weather....as they say.....sore throat and fever....not much of a voice.

I shall have to call DR ELMORE and reschedule the recording session - I don't think he will mind.

LOL!

Back from cardiac rehab and getting ready to enter a new minefield - a potluck dinner.  I can't even eat what I'm taking - an apple pie.  I promised Richard and Rob that there'd be leftovers for me to bring home to them.

Rob and I had a great time at the NYPL, and then we had a lovely luncheon at a 58th and 9th Avenue diner. Much was discussed, a lot of which I cannot divulge. I've arrived home to a phone call from Robert Kimball, a nice email from Ann Hampton Callaway and a ton of mail to open. First, a nap.

What an insane little day this is - drama with our current release - not our problem, really, just a little contract screwup, but it's all fine now - the language got readjusted and I sign the new version and that's that - really minor but they do like to have their language correct.

Then I had to get all the sheet music organized by singer and musical director, only to find they'd only Xeroxed three of eight pages of one song, so back I went.

What new TV program are you looking forward to checking out this fall?

From MBarnum:

BLUE BLOODS starring Tom Selleck

Great question TCB and I apologize for not responding yesterday.  I don't know anything about the new shows and am looking forward to continuing responses from people as they pick shows to watch.
