Well since I have had it up to here with working I would like Santa to bring me a winning lottery ticket with enough winnings to be able to walk away from my job and never have to work again.  I don't need to live like a millionaire but it would be nice to be able to fix the house up a little, and be able to see the occasional Broadway show and to travel to see family and friends

Vixmom, you certainly deserve it!!

DR vixmom, I'm with you!  A winning lottery ticket would be just the perfect Christmas gift.  I've got a list of musicals I want to record before I die, and time's a-wastin'!

Ditto to Larry!  Hope you BOTH get winning lottery tickets!!

I loved ET then and I love it now, and not just because I'm in it :)

...in a small, but pivotal role.

If you had a choice, would you rather not buy presents any more or not receive presents?

Both, essentially.  The thing is, I buy myself what I want, so people can't really get me anything that I want or even need.  So, gift cards are great...but some people (not in my family, though) just overdo it with EVERYTHING.  It's all just too much.

I got my daughter-in-law some really nice earrings and my son got a gift card to Lowe's. If he doesn't want anything, my DIL can spend it.  ;-)

My daughter got a trip to Disneyland last month. Mother-in-law and sister got flowers delivered.

That's it!

It is more than we do anymore.

Disneyland alone costs a bundle these days!

It does.  DR Laura are you going with her?

I used to shop for Christmas all year, buying things I thought people would like and saving them.  99% of my shopping was done by Thanksgiving and the cards were ready to mail.. I then focused on baking, making a good sized gingerbread house, wrapping and shipping or delivering gifts.  Of course there was the tree to buy and decorate.  I also had Bryans birthday party to plan and prepare for.  I LOVED it all.  It became harder and harder to find the right gifts and the fun kind of went out of Christmas without the boys home.  Now we do nothing and go away.  That is a different kind of fun and I enjoy all the decorations when we travel.

I am not exhausted after Christmas anymore 😃

I've had Chinese food for dinner and i'm going to watch a BBC series I've never heard of starring Toby Stephens, Vexed. I finished up Season 3 of A Place to Call Home last night. What an ender! All hell broke loose.

I need a Big win to set up a foundation to restore and record period musicals and to train someone besides Joshe to take over when I croak.

Waiting for the afternoon meeting - sometime between now and five.  Really want it to be quick and suspect it will be an hour.  Got a screener for something called Moonlight.
