And now for something completely different...

For you classical music fans - especially of Rachmaninov's piano music - this is worth checking out:

The Rachmaninov Problem Solved

*And this is much tamer than the YouTube clip I posted earlier.

the day finishes up with "Little Mary Sunshine" starting at 9:45pm.

MMMM Well I guess A Broadway person is likely to become confused.

Oops!  That was undoubtedly due to the fact that I played "Look for the Silver Lining" yesterday afternoon during the auditions.  I had "Mary" on the brain.

"I Had Mary On The Brain" - That's the title of my forthcoming auto-biography.

Hello! I had a very nice day today.  I stopped for coffee and did some great networking.  This having everyone in the world realize I'm leaving except my office is pretty strange and actually amusing. I have a very hard time believing they haven't heard me say something, but no one has mentioned it if they have.

I'm considering moving my leaving the office date up to July and make it my birthday present to myself.   Seriously, I'll have everything lined up and will have my office.  I can't imagine having the office sitting there and I'm still working for the feds.  I'll have to crunch the numbers and see where I come out

Well, I guess I won't be doing any book writing today.  I have literally spent all day updating the Brain script - I thought I'd already done that but the stage direction is so different at times that I just decided to make it really reflect the show we actually staged.

I also drove to my little mini post office and the annoying woman who runs it wasn't there - yes, the mini post office was closed and won't reopen until tomorrow.  By that time, it was too late to avoid lines at the regular post office, so I'll ship this stuff out in the morning.

And no packages, which leads me to believe my troubles aren't over - I've been expecting a little CD from Italy and it's quite overdue, isn't trackable and they didn't insure it.

A lovely good afternoon to dear Esteemed, re-lamped, and brightly shining BK --

And a good afternoon also to the lovely, supple, macho, waif-like, & studly hainsies & kimlets gathered here today.  (take your pick of adjectives!):)

And continuing the Mardi Gras theme, I went ahead and made another stop at Manna's where I loaded up a tray with Meatloaf, Collard Greens, Stewed Okra and Corn, and Mac'n'Cheese.

YUMMERS!!!

Just remember DR Jose, you and I have a date for lunch there this June!!!

As to the TOD ....

One of the most enjoyable extravagances recently was stuffing my maw which gapes, with our esteemed Grande Mensch at the sizzling and butter-covered Ruth's Chris Steak House.  It was a B'day celebration, and deserved nothing less.  YUM !!

Sounds like a Sondheim lyric to me.

I was just going to say that :)

I meant,  I stuffed my maw with the steak..... not with our fearless leader...

I would file a complaint with the BBB.... Very unprofessional...

What kind of copier is it? Can you have it serviced by another company?

So if you are watching a non-HD dvd on an HD TV...well, can you? Or is the picture going to be bad. Or will the picture still be an improvement over watching it on a regular tv?

For instance, if I were to watch ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE on an HDTV...would it be good or bad?

Neither.  It would be pathetic.

DR Jose - what's the name of the hotel you like?
