For a lark this afternoon, JoAnn and I watched SNAKES ON A PLANE. Is it art? Heavens, no! But what a fun way to get through a lazy afternoon during a rainfall. We laughed, we screamed, we had a great time. We never want to fly again.

DR MBarnum, the film I just watched gave me several ideas on decorating the fire escape for your visit.

DR Ginny - I like the Skyline Hotel over on 10th Ave., between 49th and 50th.

*I find I get better information and rates when I call the hotel. The "new" wing is quite roomy and worth the extra $10-20/night. However, the "old' isn't bad either.

*Actually, I just started watching tonight's episode courtesy of the DVR - I was washing dishes earlier - so I'm on a little bit of a 'tape delay'. However, with all the commercials, I'm sure I'll catch up "live" before the first hour is up.

I was at the dentist this morning & he had been on Mt Hood that day with his daughter, who was competing with the high school ski team. He couldn’t imagine anyone climbing up there, visibility was about nil.
