Well, you've read the notes, the notes were musical and had life, and now it is time for you to post until the MOOsical cows come home.

So I guess things are slowly returning to normal. It's 5:35am and I'm up. I no longer have a fever. I just have some stomach discomfort but it seems to be slowly dissapating.

Glad you feel better DR BEN.
Perhaps Spats was returned because on the way home, he looked around and said: "Are we going to Laura and Sandra's house now?"

I need to get moving. Going to try to exercise even though I hate indoor exercise.
I have a stationary bike so I can do some speed biking.
My rebounder broke (mini tramp). Maybe I can get a new one after Christmas.
And then some hooping.
I am supposed to go to a craft fair at 9:15am.

I just want to say that I am glad the woman took Spats back right away. She didn't even get home before changing her mind. So her daughter didn't see him and get attached to him and THEN returned him or let him get out of the kitten stage and then returned him. I am glad she took him back while the bus was still there -- otherwise he would have ended up at the shelter. I was just disappointed that it looked like he got a home, but didn't. He doesn't seem too upset -- he's purring like crazy.

TOD:
This morning, I woke up singing this song from
NEW FACES OF 1952
:
"Yesterday in old Fall River
Mr. Andrew Borden died.
Now, we got his daughter Lizzie on a charge of homicide.
Some folks say she didn't do it.
Others say, of course, she did.
But, they all agree that Lizzie B. is the problem kind of kid.
"Cause you can't chop your mama up in Massachusetts,
And then go out and blame it on the mice......."
I have now idea why a silly song like that sticks with me.

Another song that I find myself humming a lot is
"Those Were the Good Old Days"
from
DAMN YANKEES!

Saturday morning greetings! Thank you to BK and DRs Vixmom, Ben, Druxy, Jennifer, and Laura for the early-bird birthday wishes. I will be doing some holiday puttering today and, later, going out to dinner with my family.

Ginny, will you have a birthday splurge today? Or are you sticking to your cardiac diet?

Did Leslie Uggams talk about that famous video about the Rodgers and Hammerstein song?
