Well, you've read the notes, the notes said farewell and hello, and now it is time for you to post until the farewell and hello cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RISORGIMENTO!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
First post after BK.
-
And one for Dino.
-
I got the first 50 seconds to play, but that was it.
-
I got the first 50 seconds to play, but that was it.
The video auromatically downloaded to my tablet and played without any trouble. Hopefully, it'll work for you, Tom.

I got the first 50 seconds to play, but that was it.
The video auromatically downloaded to my tablet and played without any trouble. Hopefully, it'll work for you, Tom.
I will try again tomorrow on my desktop computer.
-
Played fine for me - I should have kept filming the curtain call, which is fun but everyone was standing so all you'd have seen were people's backs.
-
Well, I hate to do it (and you know I do!), but I need to get to bed early so that I can get to work early since all the libraries are closing early.
Good night, Tom and BK. And have a good day, all!
-
Thanks George.
-
DR TCB what cruise are you going on?
-
We are relaxing in our room and plan to stay put for the entire evening. We have ordered room service for dinner. The restaurants in the hotel were booked and we don't want to go out into the crowds. The view from our room is too great not to stay put.
-
We ate a delicioul meal while watching the sun set over Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong.
-
Guess I should hit the road to dreamland.
-
And hope I awaken to sweet rather than sour.
-
Bruce congratulations on an excellent show and vibes the sour turns back to sweet.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I would prefer to be anywhere but midtown today, but I will go into City Center for a bit. I'm not sure how long I will stay, but as the day progresses, it will get crazy with those folk who prefer to be in Times Square on New Year's Eve.
-
I had a long dream about working on a production of Sweeney Todd at Goodspeed.
-
Good morning, all.
-
And a very happy New Year’s Eve to all.
2019 most definitely needs to be something to look forward to.
-
Tonight we have our friends coming over, but I tend to wander in and out of that and check in here during the “out” times.
However, tonight’s partay is somewhat mitigated by the fact of our friend’s death earlier in the month, as he was a loyal and valued presence at this very event for many years, and I will have to spend a little more time with the others in moments of remembrance. But I will be here off and on.
-
I caught the video late last night via Facebook, but just watched it again here and it played fine.
-
It’s too bad BK’s complete video doesn’t include the latest adjustments. We sometimes video our things here and I know that regret all too well. The obvious solution is to make it a point always to capture one of the last shows, but that so often isn’t convenient.
-
Happy New Year
-
I must dry my hair and get ready for work
-
Have a lovely day, everyone!
-
We are struggling to stay awake until midnight. I have set a timer and an alarm clock to be safe.
-
I would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy new year.
-
T.O.D.
My fondest hope is something I can't (contractually) talk about, but if it happens it will make me very happy.
-
Plans for New Year's Eve?
Go to bed early.
:D
-
Good morning, all.
-
Happy New Year!
-
I've gone through 200 work emails so far. About 175 to go.
-
TOD:
A more competent government
A better handle on student loans/mortgage/car payment/credit cards
An enhanced desire to live a little more minimally
-
Sour to sweet vibes for MR BK.
I am letting the video load in another Window - then I shall watch it with relish.
-
Should be pretty quiet in these here parts.
I of course hope we can get our government back into the hands of someone who knows what can and should be done and does not treat the office as if he were on one of his reality shows.....we shall see......I think October, 2019, will tell the tale.
-
DR KEVIN H you were not the only one who missed the video.....HA!
-
2018 was a mixed bag....and 2019 will probably be the same, but that's okay. I'm still here.
-
A Carol Christmas has arrived in San Antonio.
-
I forgot THE ORVILLE was on! I watched OUTLANDER then switched to DVD's.....
-
WOW!
-
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
-
Sour to sweet vibes for MR BK.
I am letting the video load in another Window - then I shall watch it with relish.
And some mustard and onion, I hope.
-
The view from our room was amazing! Five barges in the water below us shot off fireworks. The flashing lights of the little boats sitting in the harbour along with the backdrop of Hong Kong.....I feel humbled to be able to experience this.
-
We could feel the windows vibrating. When the show ended we heard the roar of the crowd.
-
Keith put the video up on Facebook, sorry I can't share it here.
-
Loved the video....LOL DR CHAS SMITH....of course.
-
He also put up a nice still shot if anyone can please share it here.
-
WOW photo from DR JANE & Keith.

-
The video is fantastic!
-
Thank you DR Jrand. Not bad taken through our window with an iPad. Keith did sample videos during the 8:00 light show and decided his iPad took a better video than our camera or his phone.
-
Happy new year, Jane!
-
Look forward to watching the video when I get off the phone with AT&T. Is there another company with worse customer service? I know, I ask this every time I deal with them.
-
The work day is done. I finished reading all of my emails.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
Enjoyed the first listen to A Carol Christmas. Now hopefully I can listen to it more closely.
-
Good afternoon!
-
Nice photo, DR Jane! Happy New Year!
-
Page 3!
-
I got three hours in with Joshie and then headed home. Midtown is too crazy today
-
CD has arrived! :)
-
I got three hours in with Joshie and then headed home. Midtown is too crazy today
With thousands of people who are certifiably insane.
Rain? Wind? Strong security measures, being penned in, etc.? Yep, certifiable. :)
-
Good afternoon.
-
We did our partying yesterday after church, so we are home tonight.
-
Greetings, one and.…………….
Oh, never mind, there is no one else here.
-
The last day of 2018! That is hard to believe.
-
A beautiful fireworks photo, Jane. And the video is quite impressive.
-
Nick is sleeping the day away, except for food breaks.
-
T.O.D.
My fondest hope is something I can't (contractually) talk about, but if it happens it will make me very happy.
Good luck, Druxy!
-
Seattle's Space Needle does an impressive midnight New Year's fireworks display each year.
-
WOW photo from DR JANE & Keith.

WOW is right!! :D
-
This year they are supposed to combine it with a light show.
-
Hi, George.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
This year they are supposed to combine it with a light show.
That sounds like fun.
-
Tonight after work, I'm going to my sister's for a while. I don't think they want to stay up till midnight, so I expect to be home long before then.
-
I think I need a nap this afternoon.
-
Did you get to work an hour early, George?
-
Happy new year, Jane!
Thank you.
-
The video is fantastic!
Thanks.
-
Nice photo, DR Jane! Happy New Year!
Thank you.
-
A beautiful fireworks photo, Jane. And the video is quite impressive.
Glad you enjoyed it.
-
I had a nap. I'm still not sure what time zone I'm in.
-
This year they are supposed to combine it with a light show.
That sounds great.
-
I still have a sore throat, darn.
-
Watching a rather odd early Fassbinder movie, Katzelmacher. Made for about $174, plus beer budget, from the looks of it. It doesn't seem to be about much yet, except that everyone is sleeping with everyone else, sometimes for money, sometimes for fun. It's supposedly about immigration, but I haven't heard anything about that yet.
-
Tonight beginning at 6 p.m EST, Antenna TV is showing the entire run of The Paul Lynde Show - a weird misfire that lasted half a season.
I remember being excited about Lynde having his own show, then I started to watch it, and I couldn't figure out why they were trying to shoehorn him into a family type sitcom when that obviously did NOT fit his persona.
All during the summer, great things were being said about it and I remember Peter Marshall congratulating Paul and saying that audiences at the filmings were going crazy over the show....
And then.....BIG FAILURE. By January it was gone and Paul had been moved to another clunky sitcom called Temperatures Rising....that limped along until the end of the season....
-
And TCM is showing That's Entertainment I II & III followed by That's Dancing.....I will switch over when I give up on Paul....who was also saddled with Elizabeth Allan as his wife.....I had seen her try to be funny with John Wayne in Donovan's Reef.....but I suppose the writers must bear the most blame for this failure....
-
Picked up some packages and am now home for the duration.
-

Allen was the not exactly great star of Do I Hear a Waltz? I remember both of Lynde's shows and remember enjoying him, but not the show.
-
Eating tuna pasta salad and listening to music.
-
I'm nominated for four Robby Awards, five if you can't Everybody Rise: A Resistance Cabaret, which I directed. Three Kritzerland shows are up and I'm up for best music and lyrics for A Carol Christmas - very happy about that.
-
So, the movie has 12 minutes left and it has become what is supposed to be about, and it ain't pretty. But it's a fairly accurate depiction of parts of German -- and American -- society.
-
New Year’s Eve greetings! I had an appointment with the nurse practitioner at our primary care office and am now on an antibiotic and 2 kinds of cough medicine. Richard and I went to Kroger in the rain for our prescriptions and a few groceries for ourselves and our friends Tom and Sharon. She’s recovering from hip surgery and he woke up with a sore throat today. We are in for the night.
-
My wonderful neighbor brought over some more tamales. And I made pasta shells -- three kinds. Hopefully everyone can find something they can eat tonight.
-
It has been raining here. The snow level is down quite low in Arizona today.
-
Congrats to MR BK on his nominations.....are you clearing space on your mantel?
-
Well checking on the inner web, it seems I was incorrect....The Paul Lynde Show did have a full 26 episode season and lasted until March....THEN Paul went into The New Temperatures Rising the next fall.....
-
Congratulations, BK, on being nominated.
-
Did you get to work an hour early, George?
No. I did get in a half hour early, though. I dilly-dallied too much this morning. ::)
-

Congrats, BK! And Good Luck!!
-
Well, I must start turning myself into a pumpkin. Or whatever.
-
Soon our partay will begin!
-
Just listening to music and stuff.
-
I still have a sore throat, darn.
~~~Quick Recovery Vibes for Jane!!~~~
I recorded That's Entertainment I II & III and That's Dancing a couple of years ago. I still have them on my DVR. Eventually, I want to learn how to make Blu-rays of them, then actually make Blu-rays of them.
Kritzerland is in Variety today in the top soundtrack releases of the year - we're there for Advise and Consent and the MASH tv scores. Lovely.
-
If you enjoyed or are enjoying A Carol Christmas, do leave a review on something called Amazon.
-
Acarol Christmas has not arrived in New York
-
I hope I gave you my home address and not my old work address
-
We have been snacking on cocktail weiners in a savory sauce, various cheeses and crackers, nachos, chips and dips
-
It will be aquiet night just the two us
-
A new tgegsmeif thrones marathon
-
Spellcheck really outdid itself that time
-
And the Game of Thrones marathon
-
Laura I love that new picture of your grandson! I want to fly out there and give him a cuddle
-
If you enjoyed or are enjoying A Carol Christmas, do leave a review on something called Amazon.
It arrived today!! I'm listening to it right now! :D
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
Sadly, I can't listen to the whole thing right now because the building closes at 6:00, but I'll take time tomorrow to listen to the whole thing!
-
Feel better vibes to Ginny
-
We got out st 3 today
-
I went grocery shopping, went to the liquor store, dropped by a former coworkers house to drop off a bottle of champagne and had a nice visit with her and was still home by 4:30
-
Greetings, from a short break in the proceedings here.
-
Well, I'm off to my sister's house. I don't know how long I'll stay, though, but I know not until midnight (local time).
Be back later!
-
Page five? Really?
-
We're havin' a partay, in case you didn't know.
-
Watched one episode of The Kominsky Method - dreadful in every way, with some of the worst writing I've ever heard.
-
Listening to music and waiting for others to arrive for our haineshisway.com Bash.
-
Eating some chocolate licorice. Why not?
-
Kritzerland in Variety!
-
And so it seems that The Paul Lynde Show and Temperatures Rising were given to ABC instead of two season of Bewitched that Elizabeth Montgomery and soon to be ex-husband William Asher were not interested in doing....
And the show is based on a Phoebe Ephron play that had been developed into a sitcom to take the place of The Dick Van Dyke Show - which instead of being canceled was renewed for a second season.
When Asher/Screen Gems needed a show for Lynde - it was dusted off.
-
It was supposed to be ABC's answer to ALL IN THE FAMILY - but network interference prevented it from taking that turn.....Lynde rewrote a lot of the dialog but it was never what it started out to be....
-
It is 58 degrees and windy here - in Indiana - the last day of December.
-
Ah it seems the actress Jane Actman who played the older daughter just passed away last October, and was married to friend of BK - Gene Castle.....I think MR BK has mentioned his name...
-
I am drinking wine and eating ho-ho's let the celebration begin.
-
Yes, Gene and Jane were very good friends. She'd been sick for a couple of years. They had a long and wonderful marriage.
-
The partay has begun. We're just missing a few people.
-
Jane and Keith made it to Disneyland.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I'm here to bash away.
-
Congrats to Bk on his Robby noms and to the Variety mention.
-
Jane and Keith made it to Disneyland.
(https://scontent-ort2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/49072163_10216753856906205_521263069565812736_n.jpg?_nc_cat=105&_nc_ht=scontent-ort2-1.xx&oh=1b580683090bcb3c0aac439133e9a6b1&oe=5C92D799)
It looks quite windy there. Keith looks like he's holding on to Jane for dear life.
-
Bash, baby, bash.
-
We used to have a full jernt in the old days, but the old days have been replaced by the new days and the new days don't have a full jernt.
-
Haven't quite alleviated the sour with the sweet, although I got about halfway there :)
-
I'm listening to weird music.
-
In a mere ninety minutes the NY ball will drop and then we have three hours until the real New Year's balls drop.
-
This music is weird.
-
Eerie even.
-
Jane will have to give us her Disneyland Hong Kong report. Did everyone there speak English? Were many of the guests Americans or other foreigners?
-
Peculiar in its way.
-
Some might say odd.
-
Page six? Really?
-
Haven't quite alleviated the sour with the sweet, although I got about halfway there :)
Sounds like progress. But some people like sweet and sour together.
-
Bruce, you mentioned BODYGUARD the other day. Did you watch it? I really liked it.
-
It is 58 degrees and windy here - in Indiana - the last day of December.
That's like our weather.
-
I've only seen the first episode of Bodyguard.
-
I had a busy day today.
-
Chilly out tonight. It's been nice during the day but VERY cold at night.
-
I find it odd that many restaurants are now closed Christmas Eve day and NYE day. People still get hungry. My favorite salad bar/soup bar/sandwich bar/juice bar closes very few days, which I appreciate. The employees may not, though.
-
Chilly out tonight. It's been nice during the day but VERY cold at night.
YES. In the forties.
-
I've only seen the first episode of Bodyguard.
Do you plan to watch more? I'd like to see another season.
-
Jrand, how are you feeling these days?
-
I forgot to mention how cute DR Laura's grandson looks in the latest photo. He's a photogenic little fella.
-
Feel-better vibes to DR Ginny.
-
Yes, I'll watch more. I'll watch more when some people show up for the Bash.
-
Look forward to watching the video when I get off the phone with AT&T. Is there another company with worse customer service? I know, I ask this every time I deal with them.
A few months ago I switched back to AT&T from T-Mobile. I had thought AT&T customer service was bad, so I went to T-Mobile thinking it'd be better and cheaper. T-Mobile was worse. In the years I was gone AT&T changed their rates and I now pay less--considerably less--than I did with T-Mobile.
-
Jane's fireworks photo is quite spectacular.
Jane, is Hong Kong someplace you always wanted to spend NYE?
-
Continued changing to the sweet vibes for MR BK.
-
DR CHAS SMITH how is the party going?
-
Less than an hour left for me in 2018.
-
I am doing very well thank you DR JANE.
-
What music MR BK?
-
In a mere hour some New York balls will drop.
-
A shame none of you New Yorkers are here, oh, yes, a shame. Perhaps someone will drop by. We shall see.
-
I have no idea where Vixmom's package went - surely it went to whatever address was provided.
-
This music is odd.
-
Odd is this music.
-
Page seven? Really?
-
I have no idea where Vixmom's package went - surely it went to whatever address was provided.
faulty assumption.
-
but let's hope so just the same.
-
I have no idea where Vixmom's package went - surely it went to whatever address was provided.
faulty assumption.
I am not sure what address I provided
-
Btw I am here
-
And a New Yorker
-
Hello, vixmom.
So glad to hear about your new hours.
-
Thank you!
-
Less than 30 minutes.
I have switched to That's Entertainment Part Two
-
We're on the phone with our Canadian family
-
Birdy Barnum sees me in the dark and is chattering a bit.
-
Well, we've got us one East Coast denizen.
-
And that's a good thing.
-
I'm finding it hard to believe that anyone actually went out on New Year's Eve. I haven't gone out on New Year's Eve since... probably over thirty-five years.
-
What is this page seven malarky.
-
They are going out to stand in 2 feet of snow and watch fireworks
-
What malarky is this page seven.
-
Since when are there fireworks on New Year's Eve. Is that a recent thing?
-
Balls dropping I know - fireworks I've never seen on New Year's Eve.
-
I finally put on some music that didn't make we want to become a serial killer.
-
What am I, doing a monologue?
-
Party animals
-
DR JEANNE did I say I was doing fine?
-
DR CHAS SMITH how is the party going?
Frank Sinatra is singing some songs in these here parts.
-
Welcome fifty GUESTS.
-
GUESTS we've got aplenty.
-
No shortage of GUESTS.
-
I've written the first half of the notes, and also did a first pass at a show order for the January Kritzerland.
-
Shouldn't there be a page eight out there somewhere right about now.
-
Apparently not.
-
Page eight? Really?
-
We must at least get to page ten this fine New Year's Eve.
-
But for now: LIMBO!
-
How low can you go?
-
Almost there.....
-
Happy New Year!!!!
May 2019 be all that YOU want it to be and MORE and bring you all you want and MORE....
-
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
-
Happy New Year to you, too, Jrand.
I hope that your wishes come true.
-
Happy New Year to you, too, Vixmom.
-
Happy New Year East Coast denizens!
-
We all need a GREAT 2019!
-
I think one of your wishes came true in 2018.
-
The neighbors are shooting off fireworks now
-
And now we wait for the official New Year, at least official here in the land of the West Coast.
-
Get me off this damn page.
-
We all need a GREAT 2019!
I'll second that.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
Watched the first episode of The Kominsky Method - I found it dreadfully dreadful.
-
Three hours until the collective balls drop.
-
I hope you are all safe and cozy.
-
And now we wait for the official New Year, at least official here in the land of the West Coast.
It's already official, when the ball drops in newyork its official, everything else is made up
-
I haz spoke
-
despite the rain it Dems all the neighbors are blowing off fireworks
-
Also despite the fact that fireworks are illegal
-
When did fireworks on NYE become a thing? Why I oughta...
-
Everyone has left the room. Rather unsporting and unseemly if you ask me.
-
This is the lowest attended partay ever in the history of our partays. Par for the course in 2018. Maybe 2019 will get people off their butt cheeks.
-
But it's early yet.
-
Maybe we'll get some action in a bit.
-
Have I mentioned that this is unseemly?
-
Page nine? Really?
-
Here! Balls have dropped and I am here.
-
It’s been a long tiring day and a long tiring night. Fun was had, but I have had enough fun.
-
And like it or not, it is 2019.
-
There’s no turning back. I mean, unless you can fly real fast.
-
I wish all DRs a wonderful 2019.
Good night.
-
Good night??? West Coast balls have yet to drop.
-
Is ChasSmith still here or gone with the wind?
-
In about twenty minutes I'll take a hot shower and wash 2018 right down the damn drain, that's what I shall do. Then at around eleven I'll do my annual contemplation thing and then we'll count down to the New Year.
-
Very interesting stats this year.
-
VERY interesting stats this year.
-
This year there are VERY interesting stats.
-
Will no one rid me of this meddlesome page nine?
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
I perhaps had about ten pieces of chocolate licorice too many. But then again, all I ate today was three helpings of tuna pasta salad so I'm okay.
-
In about fifteen minutes I shall shower and wash 2018 right down the damn drain.
-
That's what I shall do in about fifteen minutes.
-
When did fireworks on NYE become a thing? Why I oughta...
It always has been here
-
Still here, but almost falling asleep...
-
Is ChasSmith still here or gone with the wind?
Chas is hosting a party at his house
-
There's no falling asleep! Put on A Carol Christmas.
-
Page nine? Really?
-
Well, at least they won’t be able to say Long Island and Connecticut didn’t show up!
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
I was cleaning up the kitchen
-
Can you clean up ours next?
-
Can you clean up ours next?
Depends, got any good leftovers?
-
Not meal type stuff, but you could make a helluva snack plate.
-
Central time zone’s balls just dropped.
-
Come here for tuna pasta salad?
-
This page nine malarky is irritating.
-
Page ten? Really?
-
VERY interesting stats this year.
-
Time to wash 2018 down the drain, although I think I'll shave first, just cause I don't feel like being scruffy.
-
Happy New Year to one and all. May this year be wonderful for you!
-
A wonderful year would be so lovely!
-
I have shaved.
-
In ten minutes I'll shower and then do my contemplation thing.
-
Welcome fifty GUESTS!
-
GUESTS we've got. Dear readers not so much.
-
Come here for tuna pasta salad?
Not my thing... got any manicotti?
-
Well, I'm off to my sister's house. I don't know how long I'll stay, though, but I know not until midnight (local time).
Be back later!
I'm home! I had dinner at my sister's and we hung out for a while, then I came home. :)
-
Happy New Year to the eastern and central time zones!!
-
Jane and Keith made it to Disneyland.
Nice!
-
I do have some ketchuping to do, so I shall. :)
-
1:42 am and my idiot neighbors are still shooting off fireworks
-
George is here - now we can partay!
-
MY tuna pasta salad would be your thing.
-
People here are obsessed by it - the huge batch I made for yesterday's cast party went so fast I couldn't believe it.
-
We must at least get to page ten this fine New Year's Eve.
Come here for tuna pasta salad?
Not my thing... got any manicotti?
Tuna is not my thing, either. Manicotti does sound good, though!
-
1:42 am and my idiot neighbors are still shooting off fireworks
Damn them! Damn them all to hell! >:(
-
Kritzerland is in Variety today in the top soundtrack releases of the year - we're there for Advise and Consent and the MASH tv scores. Lovely.
Very nice, indeed.
-
Good evening.
-
Happy New Year from the Central Time zone!
-
I'm done with my four hours of dancing.
-
My sister's boyfriend posted this on FB a little while ago:
Serenity prayer for 2019:
"God grant me the serenity to accept the people I can't tolerate, the courage to not tell them to f**k off and the wisdom to avoid running into them in the first place." --- Randi Mayem Singer @rmayemsinger
:))
-
The party drew a lot of people, so the dance floor was crowded. Loved getting out there and doing the hustle, merengue, waltz, etc. when there was room.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Eleven!
-
A new law goes into law tomorrow, here in Washington, that now defines a “service animal as either a dog, or a small horse. Huh??
-
Can you see people taking their miniature horse onboard a commercial flight, becaus it is now a service animal?
-
I actually saw a picture of a blind lady and her miniature horse on an airplane.
-
MY tuna pasta salad would be your thing.
Don’t waste the tuna pasta salad on vixmom and George. I will be happy to take their shares, as well as mine.
-
They use horses 'cause they live longer than dogs.
-
Bruce, what do you put in your tuna pasta salad?
-
In fact, tuna pasta salad sounds really good right now.
-
diapers.
-
diapers.
Good idea, but I guess miniature horses can be house trained.
Our first usher manager told us about the time someone brought a service horse with him to an event. (This was at the rodeo, which almost seems clichced.) Her response was that if the animal fits within the space of the chair, it was OK by her. If not, the patron needs an extra ticket.
-
Yes, but when a horse, even a miniature horse, takes a dump the whole plane would know about it. And you can’t house train a horse.
Today at work, I read through a whole bunch of library policies and had to sign a document stating that I read them. One of them was about service animals, and dogs and miniature horses are the only service animals that are allowed on library property. :-\
-
Page eleven - that's what I'M talkin' about.
-
Did my contemplation thing, which took about ten or fifteen minutes.
-
The policy also specified that the horse couldn't weigh more than 100 pounds.
-
Good evening (morning here) and Happy New Year! Wae-Ling is here, and we spent the last couple of hours watching the 10th anniversary concert of Les Mis. We had to keep stopping the youtube to explain something that had been left out. A lot was left out.
-
Now I'm having one additional serving of tuna pasta salad because I got hungry all of a sudden, not having eaten since about two o'clock.
-
We will probably go in search of snow tomorrow. We probably won't have to go far. She has never seen snow.
-
The tuna pasta salad is simplicity itself, but it's all in how much you use of any given thing. It's really just a can of Gold Bumblebee prime tuna, elbow macaroni noodles, Best Foods mayonnaise, finely chopped red onion, and salt and pepper.
-
I started watching an interview with Laurence Olivier that Kenneth Tynan did. I'm not fond of Tynan. And I find the clips of Olivier as various Shakespeare figures to be overly mannered. His Othello was laughable on screen, though it might have worked in the theater. (He seems to be channeling Eartha Kitt.)
-
And where is dear reader Sandra tonight?
-
We will probably go in search of snow tomorrow. We probably won't have to go far. She has never seen snow.
I never has seen snow ...
Makes me want to listen to House of Flowers.
(BTW, wonderful avatar, Laura.)
-
Have you ever added eggs and/or relish to it?
-
That's exactly what I was thinking!
-
I have not.
-
This is a Texas thing, but can you imagine someone with both a miniature service pony and open carry?
-
Don't like relish, but eggs might be amusing.
-
Nineteen minutes to 2019.
-
Happy Hogmanay from the McPherson clan.
-
The neighborhood fireworks have begun.
-
Twelve!
-
Page 12
-
I hope I'm not getting something.
-
The tuna pasta sounds good, BK. I am a purist also. The only thing I would add is some finely chopped celery.
-
I learned a new tradition today. Supposedly people who wear red underwear at New Year's believe they will find love in the new year.
So, did anybody wear red underwear?
-
Three minutes to 2019!
-
Two minutes to 2019.
-
One minute to 2019!
-
2019!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I didn't know about this. :(
-
Happy New Year, West Coast!
-
;)
-
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :D
-
I'm off to bed.
-
Good night, all!
-
Good night, John.
-
Well, the fireworks (and gunshots) have begun here.
-
Well, the fireworks (and gunshots) have begun here.
Here, too.
-
Stay outta the line of fire,George!
-
The Space Needle has fireworks going off and all the musical excerpts that they've chosen to play along with them are by female artists. That's pretty cool.
-
Stay outta the line of fire,George!
Not a problem. ;D
