DR Elmo!  Got 'cha! (Or let's see if you go poof and disappear by the time I post this...)

Like focus, I go in and out of HHW.  I'm having some dinner and chilling at the computer before I accomplish a bit more work.

So no one knows who this one-name singer is?  I am wondering why she requested to join my list of friends?  Guilt at being recorded by a company who shall remain nameless?

DR Elmo ~ She looks like a cross between Veronica Lake and Brittany Spears...?....  Oh, come on, name the company -- and name the tape in your VCR -- we want full discloser of info, none of this "teaser" stuff on HHW...

I'm typing too fast again -- that should have read Cheney and his "Homeland Security henchmen"  and "my" BK Junior decoder ring.  I'll try to slow down -- it's just that I'm soooo excited to be a junior member..Take a breath...breathe in... and breathe out....that's better..

You'll have to ask BK.  I didn't get one.

Or does one become a Full Member at 101 posts??  My bad. ::) That's right.  It's 251 posts when one becomes a Sr. Member, then HHW God at 501 posts.

You'll have to ask BK.  I didn't get one.

That will be my first question for him the next time the day's notes end with "It's Ask BK Any Question"

DR MISS KAREN - ask your question again...I am sure DR ELMORE knows the answer.

My quick guess is that you are talking about sampling - 25 seconds seems to be a long time - and most music is broadcast protected prohibited for television or radio airplay with license.

I think the picture of the Monkey God posted by DR MBARNUM fits the title of the notes perfectly.

Ooohhh, I think I get it, now...  Rats! I was thinking that I would get a listing of all the members (full member listing) that might be of interest to Cheney and Company...me bad, I misunderstood.  Guess all I get is another little, tiny yellow star when I reach the next level....Oh well... But hey, to be able to become a god (something I've always wanted to try), now that's something...

Whelp, time for dinner.  I'll try to check back later to see 1) If you all made it to page 7 and 2) to see if anyone answered by question (no, DR Elmo, not about what's in your VCR -- since you want to play coy -- but the one about the laws regarding using other people's music and not paying for it).  Cheerio, all!

For DR Miss Karen ascending to the level of junior member.  I was going to change the words of the song to "junior member" but this is a family site

Up in the air Junior Birdmen
Up in the air upside down
Up in the air Junior Birdmen
Keep your noses off the ground.

When you hear the doorbells ringing
And you see their wings of tin
You will know the Junior Birdmen
Have sent their box tops in

It takes 5 box tops,
4 bottle bottoms,
3 wrappers.
2 labels and
one thin dime

JUNIOR BIRDMEN....SYNCHRONIZE YOUR WATCHES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I just got a call from my friend Margo.  Her kids are having sleepovers at friends and she wanted to know if I wanted to go to the movies...because she doesn't have her kids!  I said yes.  We've decided to go to "Children of Men" with Clive Owen (always nice to look at ;)) and Julianne Moore.  I think it's gotten good reviews.  We'll see how it really is. :)

Until later!

Oh, I almost forgot...Topic of the Day:  Media check:

Recording on my DVR:  tonight's "Las Vegas" and something else that I forget.

In my CD player at work (that I'm just about to leave):  OCR to I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (album produced by our very own BK).  A local theater group is doing it next month and I have only listened to it a couple of times.  I just got it late last year, so I don't know it.  I did enjoy it the first couple of times I heard it.

In my VCRs or DVD players:  nothing...yet.

SMALLVILLE SPOILERS

Had a fun afternoon of viewing.

I began with last night's SMALLVILLE, the first mission of the Justice League of America. Lots of comic book-level fun, and I really enjoyed it.

The actor who is playing the Green Arrow (Jason Hartley) is actually the actor who was hired to play Aquaman in the CW pilot that wasn't picked up to be a series this year. How strange it must have been for him and Alan Ritchson (who's played Aquaman twice now on SMALLVILLE) to be featured in the same episode.

spoiler

I'm going to miss the Green Arrow now that his story arc has been concluded. I think he added a wonderful new dimension to the show with his presence during the first half of the season.

I had no idea that Oliver was hired to be the new aquaman. I absolutely love him (and really dislike the guy they've shown us twice now on smallville).  I am really disappointed that he isn't going to be on the show anymore. He was so good. I think the show has been much better since he's been on.
